I just (2020) discovered Mr & Mrs Murder and so enjoy it! The characters are so much fun and seem to really enjoy each other. The plots are well formed. It is a thoroughly enjoyable show and I am so sad that there are only 13 episodes. Well at least there are that many!
Loved this series when it first aired and I'm loving watching it again on Stan! It's a shame only one season was made as it's such a light-hearted and enjoyable who-done-it. Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart are brilliant, as always.
I haven't quite gotten to the end of these, but I'm already sad that I'm running out of episodes. The murders are quite clever, as is the dialogue. The writers are very intelligent and very silly, in a good way, whether having the characters quibble about the difference between "irony" and "coincidence" or commenting on widespread adultery among actors. ("The theatre is a hotbed of hotbeds.") It's also a relief to find a show that resolves one crime per episode, so you don't have to binge a whole season to get closure. An excellent comedy/mystery.
I really enjoy this show and give it 8.5/10. It's just not predictable, well-acted, tight editing & camera work and a great script.
To start with I had low expectations as the promo was lame and the leader actor "Shaun Micallef" I felt would never be able to hold together an hour show, as I had seen him prior as a comedy compare. As it happens the series was written by Shaun & Jason Stephens and they have done a great job well at least until episode 4 "Atlas Drugged" which is when I typed this.
To put it simply this is a truly original spin on the murder-cop show genre in which the plot whilst still clever is really a simple elevator to the clever & subtle humour, derived from delightfully timed lines and fresh comedy writing. Watch it, this is a good show and there are so few on free to air!!

I have just watched it for the first time and was so disappointed to find it only ran one season.
This couple was quirky and fun and got each other the way you always hope your other half will. This is definitely worth watching.
I hope the executive was that decided to cancel this show was also canceled. Being 6 years ago, it's probably to get the show back with the same writers, actors etc but someone should try.
