An Original Plot with a Touch of Redemption

The storyline is highly original, initially presenting different narratives that seem unrelated. However, as the story progresses and the plot unfolds, we begin to see how they interconnect. By the end, the film delivers a conclusion that suggests we always have the right to redemption.

The characters are well-developed and engaging, with some using comedy effectively. That said, it's clear this is a low-budget project, which leaves room for improvement. While the story and its development stand out as the film's strengths, the visual effects fall short due to budget limitations. Nevertheless, these shortcomings don't significantly affect the overall experience.

The humor is a strong point, and the narrative is both compelling and enjoyable. Despite its weaknesses, the film succeeds in delivering a memorable and thoughtful story.

    • Trivia
The Director actually wanted to make his first feature film, "The Last British Execution", but knew that no one would give him funding to make it without a previous track record. So he took four of his short film scripts together to make "Towns" first, to prove he could make a feature.
    • Goofs
The cast and crew only had the roof for one day, so both roof scenes were shot at once. At the start of the film you can actually see badly hidden cast members in the background waiting around to shoot their scene next.

      Linda: What?

      Sally: He's killed himself!

      Linda: You what?

      Sally: This morning.

      Linda: How?

Sally: Jumped of the top of a building.

      Linda: In town?

      Sally: Yer.

Linda: So that'ts why there was so much traffic this morning.
