The Perfect Gift to a very unperfect stranger...me!

I am a huge fan of Jefferson Moore, from the television show, "The Stranger"! I had no idea the series came from some movies. So when I saw the listing on TBN for "The Perfect Stranger" movie; I knew I had to check it out...I was so incredibly surprised and delighted that it was a Jefferson Moore piece!! Even before the movie came on, I thanked God for this "Perfect" gift to me!!! I knew this movie would lift me up and I was not disappointed...Then the next night, TBN, had the sequel "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger"!! Was I bless or what!? Anyway, I am going to promote all of Mr. Moore's movies on my new WsRadio.com show, "Daily Dialogue with Doris"!! That is my perfect gift to Jefferson Moore and Kelly's Filmworks...Continued success with your films and God Bless!!

Paled in Comparison to Its Other Two Predecessors

Having met "Jesus Christ" (Jefferson Moore) personally many years earlier, "Nikki Cominsky" (Juliana Allen) has since become disillusioned with her faith and quite bitter in the process. So after an argument with her "mother" (played by Georgette Kleier) she decides to drive at night back to her home in Chicago. On the drive back, however, she has car trouble along the interstate and while calling a repair service looks up and notices Jesus standing there with a gasoline can in his hand. Although she doubts that her car has run out of gas he assures her that this is the case and afterward they proceed down the highway together where he then continues to teach her things that she never quite comprehended before. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this film was nowhere close to its two predecessors in that it lacked the requisite emotion required for a movie of this type. For example, when Nikki is stranded at night on a busy intersection and sees Jesus standing there in front of her one would think that she would be either excited or relieved. Instead she seems to take it for granted and openly doubts his ability to diagnose the situation correctly. Of course, a person could argue she was merely expressing her view of life at this particular point but that simply doesn't resonate with this incredible moment at hand. Likewise, her continued resistance from one scene to the next merely added to the strange ambiance generated throughout the film. Again, it paled in comparison to its other two predecessors and for that reason I have rated it accordingly. Below average.

    Disappointing chapter in the series

I confess that I am not a huge Jefferson Moore fan. That being said, his movies are usually worth a look.

Not this one. For a movie that is essentially a road pic, it's awfully static. And it plays way beyond its running time. I felt I was watching it for hours.

Sad to say, not much happens. If you've seen either of the earlier "Perfect Stranger" movies, you've seen this one.

Nikki, whom we met in the first flick, needs a "booster shot" for her faith. I get it; everyday life can chip away at spirituality. But this movie seems to need a booster shot of its own. Everyone seems anemic and unconvincing.

I can usually give even a bad movie points for being sincere. But this seems forced and completely unnecessary.

    Incredible!!

I love this film!! I had already watched the other two movies in the "Perfect Stranger" series, and I was very, very pleased with them. So I was greatly anticipating the release of the third in the series. I just finished watching it yesterday, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I don't know that I have ever seen a more beautifully-written movie, except for the other films that have been produced by Kelly's Filmworks, and I am so glad that I got it. I would recommend it to everyone. I also loved the music in the film. Rebecca Friedlander is a very talented performer, and the song "Amazing" that she sang at the end of the movie was very properly named. Jefferson Moore and Juliana Allen worked wonderfully together, and the supporting cast was just as great. Please watch this incredible film. You won't regret it.

    Wonderful movie

If you have enjoyed the first two Perfect Stranger movies, you will love this! This final movie in the trilogy really brings it home. Jefferson Moore is superb as always, and Juliana as Nikki was wonderful. This movie stresses the fact that God loves us. Deeply. And for always. And that God won't love us any less (or more) than he does right now. We do not have to perform to earn his love. Because of Jesus, we already are fully loved. As Christians, we all say that we believe that God loves us. But until we get that knowledge out of our heads and into our hearts, we really don't believe it. Please see this movie. You will not be disappointed.
