I downloaded this movie for a flight from Amazon prime and could not stop thinking how bad it was! I rarely write on here, but this movie amazingly had enough good word behind it to incline me to watch. Clearly its all from people related to its making as it has 68 rated votes. Bothering to watch was a terrible mistake. The acting is atrocious. Its so bad that if the acting were the only bad part of the movie it would still warrant a 1 star review, but the lighting, dialogue, plot and overall direction is so banal and mundane I can say its one of the 10 worst movies I have ever had to watch. At least Troll 2 is so bad its somewhat laughable/entertaining. This movie is so bad its boring. The worst kind. there is not one thing I can say to recommend it. HORRIBLE.
How the hell did this film ever get any awards or nominations. One of the worst movies ever!!!!! I could only sit through 28 minutes before turning it off. The acting is TERRIBLE!! It took me completely out of the story. All of the characters were emotionless, no depth. I just want to throw up. As a fellow filmmaker, I am upset that this got made. So much potential, and it falls flat on its face. Why are people loving this!? Ugh!
Saw this at a film festival and it was the best thing I saw, hands down!
Meticulously sets up what appears to be a simple story of a horror film writer with amnesia whose nightmares, despite the help of a beautiful hypnotherapist, become more and more disturbing. The nightmares reveal memories of a dark past. But are they real? Some of them include characters from his own films! So the fun is trying to figure out what's going on along with the writer.
Bill Oberst, Jr. as the writer is fantastic at walking the line between seeming to be a terrorized, wounded man and a possible psychopath. He's the perfect unreliable narrator, since we see things through his eyes. Can we trust them? As the film moves into its final third, you'll begin to wonder if you can trust yourself!
I highly recommend this psychological thriller. It's an extremely rewarding slow descent into a very creepy and thrilling place.

Outside of Bill Oberst's performance this film is dreadful. Its beyond predictable. The more the film went on the more annoyed I became. The story was too obvious! I gave it 2 stars for the ending
Stars: Bill Oberst,Jr.
a Gregory Blair flick.
Amazing flick, You get scared, Have sympathy,Get sad and happy IN the same movie ! Bill Oberst,Jr. is making like a movie every 3 months and still giving us one – a-kind performances.
Bill is a screenwriter and has black out dreams about some of the killers from his movies, Noose man, Axe man and the worst Demon Baby Doll ! Bill has some great characters helping him on his journey through the madness of his imagination, Highlighted would be his therapist (Cindy Merrill) who is both alluring and yet very good at calming Bill The Patient with some hypnosis and drugs, medicinal of course.
