Quite a fun movie with a very different plot😊 I couldn't believe a plot like this in any Indian cinema - but then Malayalam always leads.
Before speaking about anyone let me confess that I fell in love with the character played by Aarsha - delightful to the core. Her acting and dialogues is something am going to watch again. Sharaf is so so pleasant on screen. I love him in every movie - no exceptions here. Althaf is another fav and he doesn't disappoint either.
It is a wonderful star cast and a feel good movie worth a watch for sure. Enjoyed it fully. Go watch it and you will come back with a smile. These are those typical light movies which make one happy.

Manu Mohan (Sharaf U Dheen) is in love with Salabha (Aarsha Chandini Baiju). To impress her father, who is the president of Nair community association, Manu joins and is even elected as Secretary. Their families are completely against inter-caste marriage. Before marrying Salabha, Manu wants to get his sister Meera (Rajisha Vijayan) married first. As he tries to find a right groom for her, he learns the same kind of secret multiple times about her and is confused whether he truly knows his sister or not. The funny scenes that follows till the sister gets married, is all the film has to offer.
The problem with Madhura Manohara Moham is that it starts off as a film that has more to offer by being a satire. But sadly it sticks to the repetitive jokes involving the sister's true nature and the joke is stretched till the climax. There is no justification provided to why Meera is the way she is or no attempt to narrate it from her point of view. Bindu Panicker as the mother gets a role which is just a cakewalk. Infact the actors actually carry the film through with the situational humor.
On the whole, the film ends up as a disappointing affair, just like the ones Meera had.

I saw a few positive reviews before watching this movie and was quite excited but this one was a huge disappointment. The story is below average and I don't understand the climax at all. I guess the director forgot to justify the actions of one of the main character in the movie. At least the director could have extended the movie a bit and explained that but I guess she had no time for that and in the end, everything resulted in the creation of one of the worst movies of 2023.
Please don't expect any laughable moments-the movie was disappointing from that end too. Very few comedy moments. Sharafudheen was fine and Bindu Panicker was also good. Watch the movie only if you have lots of time to waste.

Fter a pretty long gap, Rajisha Vijayan gets to play an interesting character that looks to subvert everything we'd associate with her usual portrayals. Unfortunately, the script only offers an extremely flat payoff, eventually making it look like a great idea that needed better execution. A complete perspective shift (from Manu's to Meera's) is what this film would've needed. But the idea in itself, which becomes the film's central conflict in the second half, leads to ample laugh out loud moments and interesting developments.
The first half is straight out of a 90s Jayaram flick, and even the mild attempts at humour lack subtlety. It wants to add some commentary on casteism and its overall influence on the protagonist (played by an earnest Sharafudheen) and his family. It also goes as far as making their internally casteiest stance appear as naivety. If you are able to conveniently ignore this aspect, the laughs generated in the second half are fantastic even when the climactic resolution is weakly written. Also, the music is pretty threadbare. Special shoutouts go to Meenakshi Warrier and Bindu Panicker.
