When the body of Lemuel "Lem" McVie is found in a golf club, Patrick Jane soon notes that he was murdered in another place and dumped in the spot. The CBI agents investigate and learn that Lem was member of a street gang until two years ago and presently was working as real estate agent for the firm owned by Nathan Dilmer, which usually hires ex-cons to give a second chance to them. Meanwhile Patrick is obsessed, listing the people he has shaken hands to find Red John, based on the involuntary information given by Lorelei.

"Black Cherry" is a reasonable episode of "The Mentalist". The plot is well resolved since the killers a imbeciles, and the coincidence with the gang leader is funny. My vote is seven.
