Just My Type

We didn't know exactly what to expect before watching Just My Type. Our friend sent us the trailer, said it was good, so we said, why not? We absolutely loved it and laughed throughout the movie. The first scene really grabbed our attention so we kept watching, and Just My Type kept us interested until the very end. The whole movie is based in Miami which made it extra special for us because that is where we went to college, and where we met. There are many characters in the movie, each very different from one other. It's fun to see such a diverse cast. Each character brought something amusing to the story. It's about a wacky TV station called WXGH. The antics and shenanigans (aptly on the movie's poster, lol) are hilarious and interesting. It made us wonder if these are the kinds of things that really happen behind the scenes at a TV station. Guess we'll never know for sure, but I DO know we'll be watching Just My Type again whenever we need a good laugh, and we'll definitely be recommending Just My Type to our friends! Thumbs Up 4 sure. :)

This was a super fun film to watch. I really enjoyed it and wanted to see more of the main leads. Brittany Carel (Michelle) is super adorable and I can see how she could be the next breakout star. The film is quirky and funny. Lots of colorful characters coming in and out. I love the beginning scene at the TV station, it's so zany and crazy.

The setting is in Miami and the filmmakers made the right choices with their locations. It's very hard to make a good romantic comedy feature film work, it takes a great team that knows how to bring together the right elements. Great job to all!

Once in a while you stumble upon a feel good comedy that really makes you giggle. Enter "Just My Type". The characters, story and performances of the cast made "Just My Type" a home run. These days we all need to laugh and that is what I did while watching this adorable movie. From the very first scene I was hooked, and I couldn't stop watching. The characters seamlessly weave into each others lives as they all have an attachment to the wacky WXGH TV station and the stations Power Hour Show. I've spent a lot of time at tv stations, and the portrayals in "Just My Type" were very authentic. The film is shot well, shows well, sounds great, and I really enjoyed all the Miami scenes and references. There is a surprise ending that made me want to see more of this laugh out loud fun movie.

Just My Type is a fun and quirky indie film that is full of laughs from beginning to end. In fact, it's full of hysterical hijinks and surprising schtick and it is a mischievous comedy to say the least. It's not always easy to pull off a good romantic comedy in the indie world and the makers of this movie did a great job at it. There are a ton of characters and I just can't decide which I like the best but Jill Melody as Pat Walker is a delightful treat! If you are looking for a great romantic comedy, date night at home movie, then don't pass up Just My Type. I highly recommend and give it two thumbs up!

I like it when a movie can hold my attention and this one did. Not a boring or dull moment throughout and every actor was good and played their role well!

It had a nice little taste of a Miami vibe. Very diverse and hilarious! A little office drama with a good mix of feminine and masculine energy. Saw it alone and will watch it with my wife. Grab your popcorn or some pizza and turn on your big screen and enjoy for a movie night or date night preferably with someone who is Just Your Type lol pun intended. You're welcome in advance for the idea.... Almost forgot to mention it was also shot really well and everyone looks great too so that's a plus. Great movie.
