The hijacker Lyosha Tsygan steals a "muddy" car out of a sense of revenge - it belongs to the former owner of a precious metals processing plant, who was imprisoned twenty years ago. The current head of the company, Osinsky, gives the temple a golden salary. His former partner Leonid Maksimovich suddenly appears at the presentation. He returned to the city to resolve old issues.

Tsygan receives a task from Leonid Maksimovich to deliver a message to Osinsky and his entourage. Buba doesn't trust the guy and keeps an eye on him. Tsygan gets closer to Osinsky's daughter Arina, which gives him a daring plan.

Osinsky and his entourage are trying to decipher Leonid Maksimovich's message. LM sends Tsygan with a task to Osinsky, and he met with the head of the city and finds out the circumstances of the past. Tsygan receives information about his father's death and is ready for decisive action.

Leonid Maksimovich takes Tsygan to the former head of the plant's security service. They both have questions for this man. Arina disappears. Baruev sends his son in search of her - she is his woman after all. Tsygan finds out about Arina's disappearance and also goes to look for her.

Arina finds out her relationship with her father and leaves home. Buba considers Tsygan to be guilty of everything and goes to the deputy technician with a plan. Leonid Maksimovich learns the details of his son's death. Baruev visits him and offers a deal.

Osinskiy and Leonid Maksimovich meet for a one-on-one conversation. Tsygan finally discovers the truth about his father's death, and he finds himself facing a difficult moral choice.
