Who knew that a bunch of nerds locked in a competition to be the best builder could be so much fun! I'm not a Lego fan, so I was a bit worried that perhaps I would not get the jokes, but the movie does a great job of never making it feel like you are missing out on the jokes just because you haven't spent your youth building. I would love to see more heart and genuine humor like this in movies these days, so much fun!
Brick Madness is a Mocumentary about the ins and outs of the Adult LEGO community. It's hilarious and moves at a good pace. If you've ever attended a LEGO convention or if you or your children are REALLY into LEGO Bricks you will totally understand this fabulously funny and well done movie. Hats off to the filmmaker.
This is some of the smartest comedy in a lot time. I was never a huge fan of legos, but am a huge fan of this film
Absolutely loved this film! The true sign of a good mockumentary is one that lovingly makes fun of its subject without betraying the fact that the filmmakers are also fans and lovers of the subject. Brick Madness lovingly skewers the world of brick building, but is never cruel or mean-spirited. Fun for everyone with great performances from some really funny folks. Waiting for Brick Madness 2: Electric Brickaloo.
Wacky and unpredictable, this film had me smiling the entire time! So many characters with vastly different personalities, it was a real character study for the audience. Writers to be applauded for clever nuances. Director pulled off a complicated timeline to build a smooth and even delivery.
