Ego over Sandwich?

Adam Richman picks three restaurants that might have the best sandwich in the South. How he picked those three sandwich shops to represent the South is never explained.

The U. S. Census Bureau recognizes 16 states as part of the Southern United States. These are: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Richman then goes to the three sandwich shops and tries the best sandwich from each shop. Then he just says, "This is the best one" and that is the end of the contest. Of all his shows that I have seen, this one seems to be the lamest by far.
