Director Evan Marlowe took care not to show Anna (Kerry Finlayson) clearly until her epiphany in the car. By keeping her face out of focus, in shadow or out of frame, he was able to depict her as emotionally aloof, until she has her break-down.

Goofs
In most of her shots the Gypsy has a birthmark on her right chin. However towards the end of her last scene the birthmark was forgotten about by the make-up department, and so it magically disappears.
