Un Parfait Gentleman

Cagatay's performance is very good, as usual, and truly adds value to the movie. "A True Gentleman" is an above-average Turkish film with a solid plot and engaging characters. While it may not be in the top 5 of Cagatay's filmography, it's definitely worth watching-especially on a relaxing Sunday.

The pacing is steady, and the film manages to stay grounded without losing momentum.

Saygin's friendship with Kado is very well built and feels authentic, adding emotional depth to the story.

A well-made drama that balances strong acting with a thoughtful narrative.

A simple, touching film that leaves a nice impression.

Outstanding movie. He will always makes us proud. His acting is breath taking. He makes us live the story like real.

Incredible story and incredible casts. It couldn't be done in a better way. His childhood story touched our heart and the way he changed is a big achievement for a man who lived such a childhood. I don't think anyone would have able to take us through this journey like Cagatay did. He makes us look forward for another project as fascinating as always.

Well done Cagatay. I recommended everyone to see it and give his or her opinion. I am sure his folks are proud of his achievements.

Interesting storyline .... however, the ending is way too melodramatic, given the lead up and storyline about the main characters.

So the lead lives a life of luxury at the expense of a rich, older woman who likes him a lot. She wants to be her exclusive lover and he knows that if he goes againat her wishes, he will lose his pampered lifestyle. In the end he betrays her and that wjere the drama begins .... almost at the end of the movie.

The movie could have been better if it had shown some flashbacks in the lead's early life to explain his actions and why he was such a cold and selfish person. 😕

Why reviews are so bad? It's not an Oscar movie, but there are millions of American ones rated at least 6. I completely disagree with such harsh criticism from other users. I spent a very pleasant evening watching it. As always in Turkish productions, the music dazzles. The subject matter is not as shallow and cheap as one might expect from description of the movie. The film, free from Turkish censorship, shows a more normal life of Turks. I have a comparison, I watch both series that are on TV and those from streaming platforms. You can see a definite difference. The cast is familiar from many other Turkish Netflix productions. There are also some new faces. Really good entertainment, different culture, interesting topic.

Watched this one with my girlfriend, and honestly-it's the kind of film that works only in that context. A soft, romantic vibe, some touching moments here and there, and an ending that actually moved me a bit. For that, it's enjoyable.

But beyond that... it's a pretty standard Turkish drama. Stylish visuals, soft piano in the background, a "deep" character living a nightlife full of clichés. The story feels worn out, like it's been told a hundred times before-with nothing new to add. Even the emotional beats feel predictable.

It's not a bad movie, but it lacks originality. A decent popcorn film, emotional in the right moments, but forgettable overall. Watch it with someone you love, then move on.
