Not a great story and not a great script. Relies heavily on profanity, tripping, stupidity and chicks with dicks to get the laughs (and there are a few sprinkled throughout) but overall there are better ways to spend 90 minutes. Watch as a last resort or when you need to get off to sleep.
Did casper van dien even read the script before accepting this? He had a pretty big hit in starship troopers in 1997, but made a real mix of good ones and clunkers after that. Blake freeman wrote, directed, and acts in this, and it's not usually a good sign when the same person does all that. Lots of stereotype jokes, and talk of racism. Chris, vince, and kurt take a trip to colombia to claim the reward for bringing in a drug lord. They aren't even sure where colombia is. Clearly they are in way over their heads! Low budget. Cheesy script. The story itself isn't bad, but it's just not that fun to watch. Many, many stoner jokes. You'll recognize danny trejo! With his rugged looks, he's in every drug and mafia movie made. The fighting in the center part actually isn't bad. But the beginning and the ending are just silly. It looks like they rented a mansion in los angeles for a week to film this. Entertaining.. i guess.
An American action comedy; A story about three American guys who venture to Columbia with the aim of capturing America's most wanted criminal for a dollar reward. The film starts well, establishing the characters, and there are several instances of genuine amusement. Unfortunately, it then descends into a cramming of drug-addled inaneness, racial crudeness and silly, predictable encounters with dangerous criminals showing no real menace. It transforms from funny buddy comedy to juvenile caper.
First off I'll start this off by saying its not your funny big budget movies like American Pie & Superbad. Its a small budget movie that does a lot with what they had. You can tell in the begin the actors didn't know their characters very well, but somewhere around 20mins into everything changes. The movie creates these characters and their very funny to watch. They're dialogue facial expressions and everything start to work out. And you start to fall for the characters. The story at times feels like its making fun of fast & furious where it doesn't need to make sense but its a fun ride. And that's exactly what this movie is.
I hate spoilers so that's why I didn't mention the movie much, but the only thing I'll say is you gotta push through the first 10minutes a bit. You'll enjoy it in the end.

This comedy would have been much better without Blake Freeman in the cast. He should have stuck to directing.
