Are they saying men would never be able to give pleasure to women, so women should learn to pleasure themselves? Or are they saying women who don't climax are 'defective pieces' - since they used this narrative repeatedly in the movie? Why not use this opportunity for actually providing sex education to our dear men?
Kusha's and Dolly's role is not mention-worthy. Bhumi has done a good job. And Shehnaz was good as well. I really like the music with some groove-worthy songs. I don't understand why Anil Kapoor was hired for such a subpar role.
And ofcourse, one extra star since my all time favorite song is a part of the soundtrack. Dil dhoondta hai fir wohi, fursat ke raat din..

The movie is difficult to sit through because of a jumbled up, skewed and erratic narrative. It is one big cringe fest. Its target is the urban elitist audience who also may not like it. The mixed up, clueless and dumb 30 plus heroine( Bhumi Pednekar) feels that the world is collapsing around her because she has not experienced orgasm. Even her mother and grandmother are of no help here.(Towards the end however her mother asks her to practice " self help" to solve her problem).
The movie's director presents a skewed view of the storyline and the movie falls flat inspite of best efforts. The acting is loud, unduly boisterous and irritating. There is a crude stereotyping of Punjabi families. They have been reduced to caricatures. There is an excess of parties, after parties, drinking, dancing etc. The movie shows a misplaced perspective of women's liberation. A few scenes appear sleazy and cheap. All actors have overacted without exception including Bhumi who is clearly miscast. And what was Anil Kapoor doing in this movie ? Though the production values are good the songs and dances are too loud and garish. The climax in the school auditorium was atrocious and ridiculous to say the least.
We have no problems with movies on subjects considered taboo but they need to be handled with care and sensitivity. The message of the movie should take into account broad societal norms.

I'm unable to understand how this movie got rating higher than 7. It doesn't deserve any single star/ratings. I thia it's fake Rating.... because if you saw here many movies got rating higher than 7 but they even don't deserve 5 too.
Like :- Sukhi, Thanks for coming, fukrey3 and many movies.
Even rating of these movies is higher than that of #Jawan. Can you imagine how these ratings are fake, irrelevant and manipulated.
So, i request you all to don't support such types of movies who missguided our generations, it's also impact our culture and lifestyle too. So, stay away from these movies. Like :- "Thanks for coming" type movies.

Thank You for Coming, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill, is a recent Bollywood film that has been met with mixed reviews. The film attempts to be a feminist comedy about female pleasure, but it falls short in many ways.
One of the biggest problems with Thank You for Coming is its script. The film is full of clichés and predictable plot twists. The characters are also one-dimensional and underdeveloped. Bhumi Pednekar gives a spirited performance as the lead character, but she is unable to save the film from its flaws.
Another problem with Thank You for Coming is its tone. The film tries to be funny, but it often comes across as crass and offensive. The film also makes light of serious issues such as sexual assault and slut-shaming.
Overall, Thank You for Coming is a disappointing film. It is a missed opportunity to tell a meaningful and entertaining story about female pleasure.
Here are some specific criticisms of the film:
* The film relies too heavily on tired clichés and predictable plot twists.
* The characters are one-dimensional and underdeveloped.
* The film's tone is often crass and offensive.
* The film makes light of serious issues such as sexual assault and slut-shaming.
* The film's message about female pleasure is ultimately muddled and confusing.
Overall, I would not recommend Thank You for Coming to anyone. It is a poorly made film that fails to live up to its potential.
