Thus movie rushes headlong into obscurity. The acting was trash. And the story made no sense. There were so many inconsistencies. I have never critiqued a movie before but I really had to say something. This was the absolute worse. I don't think the director and writers knew what to do with themselves. The best part of this movie was the poster. Fake fight scenes. Can't all be box office hits, but try to make a better movie. I can't believe I watched this trash. This movie was outside the realms of reality. Glad I didn't invest in this. I would've lost a bundle. Seems like Noone wanted to pay a technical advisor to make a better movie.
After watching the film from start to end, then in parts to get a better understanding, I was very disappointed. The plot and the overall development of the film was unsatisfactory. Tlhe film was reckless and irresponsible. The only positive was the lengths a parent would go to save their child. Fast forward to the end shattered that notion. Then when someone says something foolish or their actions show them doing something unintelligent, ruins the film. The ending was the most disappointing. The message was clearly how someone could make a bad decision that becomes the worst decision with no consequences so far. The film was entertainment only. No one won at the end.
"Chasing Raine" is an exhilarating film that hooks you from the opening scene and never lets go. The action-packed start catapults you into a high-stakes world of suspense.
The pace then slows, allowing you to catch your breath and get to know the characters, laying a solid foundation for the story. Just when you think you have a handle on the plot, the film surprises you midway, ramping up the action and tension to new heights. The stakes rise, emotions intensify, and twists keep you guessing.
Chasing Raine masterfully balances its pacing, with expertly choreographed action sequences that leave you breathless. This film is not only entertaining but also profoundly relatable, capturing the essence of everyday struggles and the lengths we go to for those we love. Don't miss out on this thrilling, heartwarming journey. To say that I really liked this movie, would be an understatement. I do recommend Chasing Raine.

This film gave a feeling of nostalgia. The story was well written and kept me attentative as I tried to figure what was going to happen next. I thought the pacing was pretty balanced between the storytelling and action sequences. I believe this may have been an Indie Film but I was unable to say because the production was so well put together. Also the action was superb and the acting was pretty good too. I was hooked after the opening scene which pulled me in towards the progression of the story. I was highly surprised with ending of the film. I will watch again . My favorite expect of the movie was the music it was retro yet modern.
This movie starts out as dysfunctional family issues with the ex-husband (Maurice P. Kerry, Clyde Foxx) and his ex wife (Krystal Jordan, Sky Atlas) over their daughter (Dall'asia Howard, Raine Foxx) things get tense when the ex dad kidnaps the daughter, things get very strange and you really don't know who is the bad element, the ex-wife or the ex-husband as other characters are tossed in from various very bad backgrounds creating a mish mash of plots. Very confusing to say the least, lots of gun play and violence, the fight scenes look forced and not authentic, then all of a sudden child trafficking is tossed in too. Very strange mix here. Nothing questionable, no nudity, lots of foul language, just a hard watch, you really do not know who to root for. If you can't find something else to see, this is an "OK" waste of time with an odd ending.
