"May I Help You?" is the kind of K-drama that reminds you why you fell in love with Korean series in the first place - it blends emotion, humor, mystery, and pure warmth in a way that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The story follows Baek Dong-Ju, a young funeral director with an unusual gift: she can communicate with the deceased and grant their final wishes. Alongside Kim Jib-Sa, a kind and loyal young man who runs a small errand service, she forms an unexpected but incredibly charming team.
What makes this drama truly special is the way it balances lighthearted, positive vibes with deeper, more emotional moments. Each episode introduces different stories from the people Dong-Ju helps, and while some will make you smile, others might bring tears to your eyes. The series teaches beautiful lessons about kindness, empathy, and how small acts of help can leave a lasting impact.
The chemistry between the leads is delightful - it's not rushed, it's not forced, but rather develops naturally as they share experiences and support each other. The side characters also add charm and humor, making the world of "May I Help You?" feel warm and alive. Visually, the cinematography is soft and pleasing, enhancing the cozy and heartfelt atmosphere of the drama.
One of the most uplifting aspects of the show is its ability to turn a topic as heavy as death into something touching and even comforting. It gives you a sense of closure and hope, showing that even endings can be beautiful.
If you're looking for a drama with a positive vibe, touching stories, a sprinkle of romance, and a meaningful message, "May I Help You?" is a must-watch. It will leave you smiling, maybe crying a little, but most importantly, it will leave your heart feeling lighter.

This is one of those brilliant stories that the creators wasted an enormous amount of time on stills, replays and completely unnecessary angst. Not sure what they were aiming for, but for me it was uncomfortable to watch all 16 episodes.
The true plot only unfolds at the very end. A well kept secret that a viewer like myself might miss due to the bloated episodes (so many repeat scenes - if I were to count there is a particular scene that repeated between 32 & 48 times).
The actors chosen for each role is spectacular. Each brought their character to life. This is the key reason I managed to stay with the drama. Definitely 10 🌟 for casting.
While I'm not a fan of the way people's faith/religion is portrayed in most kdramas this one kept it real for the everyday yet authentic experience. Not cartoonish at all.
Aside from the nauseating number of replays that could cause delirium (maybe that's what the director wanted), the soundtrack was emotionally draining. Difficult to endure over 16 episodes.
Relationships between the characters were a wonderful treat and relief from the inevitable heaviness of the story. Again, they felt real with the everyday caring, challenges and expectations especially among family members or longtime high school friends. Yet the level of deception between a few characters is a bit gut wrenching. So steel your emotions.
However, as not everyone is the same on how they experience dramas like this one I do recommend it for the unique story, and great cast. It was truly rewarding to see how the story comes to fruition and that it wasn't just a bizarre series of events threaded together.
Final note on my rating. I did not enjoy my time watching this due to the draining manner of presentation and music soundtrack.

I've watched a few Kdramas and just happened to fall upon this one. It's a good story. It can be a little infuriating but luckily you have a new episode waiting for you so you don't have to wait to see what happens next. The characters are all connected in some form or another and you also get to know each of their personalities and stories. I still have about 6 episodes to go. But when it comes on, it has my undivided attention. It has subtitles, so if that bothers you, this isn't the show for you. But I promise you will love how it plays out. No spoilers, you have to watch it for yourself. But you will enjoy it.
I enjoyed this drama a lot. I thought this was going to be tge typical tearjerker series which target easy sensitive audience but It actually surprised me.
At the end of this drama you will feel an uncontrollable eagerness to appreciate those around you and will want to live your own life as it wasn't a tomorrow, you never know what is going to happen so do everything you want and be happy.
EVERYTHING and I mean literally everything in this drama is connected, and the best thing is you don't even realize and it's not predictable whatsoever.
Very dark moments that will make you emotional but each story is beautiful written and it won't let you unsatisfied.
The first half of the series is a bit more upbeat and comedy and romance took more of the center stage. I enjoyed the chemistry between the leads and I laughed with the situations amidst the dramatic events.
The second half of the series is a bit slower and focused more on the main backstories of the two leads. A bit more heavy in drama and quite emotional, but the magnificent ending and closure of the story will leave a sweet aftertaste and you will end up smiling and feeling hopeful for this life.
I absolutely adore Hye Ri is just brilliant at acting, her range is just crazy wide, she masters comedy and drama perfectly and if you know her you know her capability of actually crying at command, so I know her scenes are pure art.
Its my 5th drama enjoying this super young actor ( he is only 25 here) Jun-Young and I think he will get far as well, his career so far is impressive and I love seeing him on more prominent roles, although he has almost always had main roles, which is fantastic. His aura is a bit more mature and he looks older so he is perfect playing older characters.
Overall a great watch.
