EGO - Erkege Güven Olmaz

I've watched till episode 3 and some parts of episodes 4 & 5. I understand it's a remake of a Korean series which I did not watch. In fact this series reminded me of the Hollywood movie Indecent Proposal which I could not finish because I didn't like it. This series is slightly boring, predictable, the main characters are not likeable and lacking in certain good virtues. How can a good human being intentionally propose such a proposition when you know it will hurt others? How can the person accept such a proposal and not think there will be consequences on his loved one? So, the story is spinner off on this indecent proposal. Alperen is a good actor and I like seeing his acting. Melissa as Sibel is rather wooden, moody and brooding. The supporting casts don't seem to stand out much and thus I get very distracted and easily bored as I watch the series. Think I will stop as I've been forwarding so much in episodes 4 & 5. Sometimes even good chemistry between 2 main roles can't help an average series.

The series is a good because it taught me to move focus from western movies to Turkish cos the acting is reality based n it deals with deep human emotions-love anxiety sadness envy jealousy etc. It has no violence ex: gangs revenge guns car chase war etc. Just story of love between a successful businessman n a florist n the emotions that get in the way of lovers friends colleagues exs and the storyteller is the excellent cast crew and its music. It blends with today's modern type story. Its a cliche rom com but the Turkish writer has taken it apart n given this romcom a new meaning esp with Alperen zwho is an excellent actor n Melisa who is a realist n the romance between the two leads dazzles with chemistry. Their looks n facial expression is all so beautiful n very realistic. I don't understand Turkish i always watch it as soon as it arrives even without subs but i understand the emotions between the two i think that comes from great talent which Turkey has so beautiful. Words fail to express the admiration towards their acting skills. This show and its story is based on emotions no gun family war revenge war etc. Its a winner of our hearts half way across the world it teaches humanity love is the be all n end all of life.

From the very beginning the story hooks you and can't stop watching it.

What I loved the most is that there's no "good" or "bads" all the characters have flaws, which brings a new story to the gig.

All the stories are great, and you don't who to support because they all make good things as well as make mistakes that cost them their stability.

What's more this Tv series brings us plot twist and you're so captivated by the settings. I like how the story will continue to unfold, that's why I ask you all to give it a try you won't feel disappointed, believe me.

Looking forward for every Sunday to watch it.

The series is really very exciting and unpredictable, the roll in the series were hit very well and the acting performance is at a very high level. Melisa and Alper have a super chemistry and hamon top in the interaction. The story is very emotional and very emotional who wants to see an exciting drama is really picked up here. I look forward to following a new one every time. You can't just stand without the series and the character. The crazy family and the problems of sibel take a very much with you and gives the viewer the feeling to be accompanied. Elifs development is also very worth seeing. I'm most sorry about her all happened.

Fresh story, great actors, good at look at the Ego and how it gets in the way if our happiness. Exciting, something happens in each episode. The script is great and also the actors. Actors will learn from the ego and may sometimes brings us the path they need. Who is really to blame? Nobody? Everyone? Tradition? Generations of behaviors? How some traditions can cause people take desperate actions, and its consequences. Tradition over love themes. How men can do anything ... Women are not. How values are twisted if it serves the head of family, a man. This does not ruin traditions, it highlights where traditions cn hurt people. Some traditions are wonderful yet others can cause more inbsalance in a family line.
