I preferred our own version (the British one) but this was still good.
I binged it over a weekend. After the first couple of episodes I decided to skip past the challenges. They weren't very entertaining and felt more like filler for each episode. I may have missed the odd discussion but I can live with that. I want to see the scheming and the back stabbing play out, not someone walking over a bridge with trapdoors or retrieving something out of a lake.
As with our version though I was never too sure which side I wanted to win. I can admire a good traitor. Especially when they are saying one thing and doing another like it's normal to them. I can also admire a faithful when they cleverly put together who it is and why.
All in all it's a good watch and harmless entertainment. Will your favourite win? You'll have to watch it to see.

From the first episode watching this after the US and UK versions, and for some reason this version ticks all the boxes. Suave and sophisticated host with excellent humour (I felt Claudia took it far too seriously), and the gold masks for the traitors was a great touch.
I thought it was hilarious seeing the traitors at the start of the UK one in the tower just holding their heads down pretending not to see each other, not even putting the hoods back up before the last one came in. I mean, really?
Also the contestants are allowed to drive. Which is apparently rare af.
Whole thing just felt more polished and professional than the others, and as much as I like Claudia, I felt she didn't really fit, and Alan, while a legend, didn't seem right either. Rodger, even though I had no idea who he was, just seemed so natural and effortless in his role.
I really need a season two.

Absolutely in love with The Traitors (Australia). As a huge fan of The Mole, including the new reboot, one of the biggest feedback I had (along with many others) was that they wished The Mole also had stake in the game as well to make the game a bit more competitive. Here comes The Traitors, a new game that is slightly similar, but with a much better twist - the "traitors" are selected from the contestants pool (not a hired actor), and everyone has to compete to win the money. The social game is even more intense in this one, because you have to stay off everyone's radar so you don't look suspicious, AND the Traitors' radar so they don't 'murder' you for being a threat.
In this debut Australian version, I really liked their casting and Roger is great host as well. Each episode takes you on a wild ride where you don't know who's next.
I haven't seen confirmation for a season 2 yet, but in the finale they did mention see you next year. So I hope that's confirmation lol. Love this show!

I discovered this recently. Binged watch the french canadian version AND the UK version. I have nothing but love for the show. I just watched the australian version and it was okay, but nothing more than that. Not a fan of Rodger, he wasn't bad by any mean, just didn't love him. There was several moments where i found he was talking to much before round tables, almost giving hints as who was/were the traitors. Find it way easier for traitors in this version compare to the previous one I've watched. All and all it was far from bad, but some details here and there that, if I were them, I would've stick to the original version. 6/10.
Now to the series.
I've seen 4 sessions now, the uk, swedish and Au versions. As done with all episodes and seasons , I basically skip all the challenges that has nothing to do Helping with the overall game at all, so it's pointless. It's Like a separate thing from the actual game.
Focusing on this season, I am concerned about the professionals people made out themselves to be and having so much peanuts for braincells. I don't know, maybe it mirrors the viewers also, that is why the producers casts this way, for the viewers to recognize themselves. Nahmsayin.
I notice the pattern in all these competitions is that there are the dumbnuts that makes it the farthest.
Even the Uk version. Although that was the best season of all because of the traitor act was astounding.
