The story takes place between 1958 and 1967 in Rome. Arturo, known as the "Mister", is a robber who fell in love with the young prostitute Anna Rosi. The man promises to marry her after having put into effect a last hit: stealing two hundred million lire from a bank. A shot that does not go well: the police kill an accomplice of "Mister" and stops another, while he saves with the money. Gianni goes to the brothel to find Anna: Ciacià, an envious prostitute, pretends Anna, but then beaten says his true identity and promises to Gianni to find out where Anna is. The woman reached Loretta and her children: Sergio and Antonia and the little Aeneas, Loretta's son. Ciacià is forced to reveal to Fontana where Anna is and the man pretends to invaded her to get the potency on her children and marry her. Anna gives advice on Loretta's wife Gianni.

Anna is held captive by Gianni and Riccardo, but manages to telephone Loretta phone by telling her to run away with her children and keep them safe from him. Fountain, coming home, finds the lover, and, taken from the anger, shoots four hits back to Anna, killing her. Loretta and Ciacià discovering Anna was assassinated decided to run away in Switzerland to ensure a future for children. Years go by, Anea becomes strong and robust, so much to defend Cia Cià from the mafiosi who want the lace. Sergio is an expert in stealing and decides to look for her sister.

Claudia was well aware of her husband's obsession with Antonia for a weekend at a family of noble origins to sew various dresses, and to keep her away from Commissioner Malaspina and spend her wedding anniversary quietly. Antonia wants to find out where his brothers are, and asks for help from the commissioner, but he has a lot of ideas in mind: instead of finding the brothers, despite having had some news, he keeps them farther away because he does not want them the girl goes away from home, since she is now in love with her. Returning home, Antonia, accompanied by Manuele, assists what looks like a terrible accident: Claudia, tired of her husband's continued lies, is going to tell everything to Antonia, that her husband spied on him while he was showering, the postcards of one of his brothers from the burned commissioner and his obsession with her.

At the end of the third episode, Claudia's tragic death is witnessed: the woman had discovered the profound infatuation of her husband, Commissioner Mauro Malaspina, against Antonia. At the height of the frustration, Claudia faced the spouse and in the collusion that followed her the woman rushed from the stairs: Malaspina let her fall and Claudia died. Meanwhile, however, the girl frequently attends lawyer Manuele: the young man is following his case and the two find themselves in love. Unfortunately, Matilde, after a last touching look at the boy, fights with killing.

Antonia, including the true nature of Malaspina, decides to take refuge in Emma and finally finds her brothers Sergio and Aeneas, who save her from Malaspina who was about to violate her. Luckily the girl saves. Meanwhile, Manuele, having learned about Valentina's pregnancy, decides to marry her. Aeneas, having known of her mother's death, wants to avenge her, starting to work for Vito Cirasola, along with her brother Sergio. Emma wants to settle the account she had with Cirasola, promising him to pay her debt. France no longer recognizes her beloved Sergio, and worried she decides to tell all about Antonia, who tells the boys that if they continue to behave so they will have to realize that they no longer have a sister; but the two do not stop at nothing, their sole purpose and find Gianni Fontana, and kill him for all the evil he has created so far.

France is worried about the life of Sergio who has to do with Cirasola and Bellafaccia who procures drugs at Enea. Aeneas for pain stop taking drugs and agrees to work with Antonia to avenge all the people killed by Fontana. Aeneas, brutally killing him, confesses to Bellafaccia the murder of Fefe to raise the reputation of his brother, so Bellafaccia and Cirasola end up in jail for murder. The boy is sentenced to twenty-five years in prison but after two he gets a special leave, a day of freedom. Things between Antonia and Manuele are fine. Aeneas, with the key, goes to the bank where the money is. The final is very special: the series ends with Enea laughing. Ride thinking of the money that maybe there are.
