    Lizzy in MCU

In the aftermath of the battle of New York, Claire Weiss (Lizzy Caplan) and Bennie Pollock (Jesse Bradford) find an alien weapon and use it to rob banks. Agent Jasper Sitwell is assigned to recover it. The only disappointment comes from the fact that Lizzy Caplan never continued in the MCU. She would be hilarious while still being a compelling actress. This is a solid short.

    WOW! What a Nice Surprise!

Watching the MCU in release date order, and with Thor (6/10) being the best one for me so far in Phase 1 - most of the others ranging from actual garbage to just "ok" - this one really surprised me with how it closed the Phase.

The two main characters are funny, they click, and honestly, they're kinda cute together. It's just fun. The whole aftermath of the Battle of New York was a blast to watch. Clever idea, well executed.

I really hope they show up again in Agents of SHIELD or maybe some later installment. Would love to see where their story goes.

Honestly? Not just the best MCU short up to this point, but low-key the best film of Phase 1, period.

Keep that energy for Phase 2 - I hope it gets better!

    Final Score: 7/10.

    It's a Tease

What a tease. They show us a small story with Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford. I really wish they would have brought Lizzy Caplan into the MCU universe. She is a very talented and amazing actress that could have totally rocked a part.

The story was short, but fun. It was nice to see more of Agent Jasper Sitwell in action. He has a very different style than Colsoun. But he's still fun. He seems to be in most of the One-Shot's.

I liked the story. It was short, but still told something and gave a glimpse at alien technology and how it looks in civilians hands. It was funny and definitely went in a different direction then I thought it was going to go in. I'd totally watch a full movie about Claire and Bennie (bonnie and clyde) if they would have made one.

Re-watch Review Series MCU - Fun and enjoyable

*) K Reviews *) ( ( It has no relationship with the MCU but is light hearted and fun to watch. From the story point of view you can skip it but from the entertainment point of view then you should watch it.

    Good!

At first I thought this was just another "ride the hype" after The Avengers production but gladly I was mistaken. The story is tight and the runtime 12 min, but I learned today that short is not always a bad thing.

The effects are cool and rates high, the acting is really good and the diversity between the persona's of the actors works in harmony. What can I say except it made my cup of coffee in the morning taste a lot better.

The only problem is how to fill 10 lines of review of a short very good movie, when there literally ain't nothing to complain about.

    • Crazy credits
There is a scene at the end with Claire, in her suit, sitting on a chair, driving it around a room with her feet, looking at the ceiling with a look of boredom on her face, in a room similar to the one Agent Blake was in earlier.
