Bollywood fans, rejoice! MHKB is here to bring back the magic of rom-coms! The film effortlessly blends laughter, love, and drama, reminding us of why we fell in love with Bollywood's golden era of rom-coms in the first place. Arjun Kapoor is on fire, bringing his trademark charm and charisma to the role. Bhumi Pednekar's comic timing is spot on, delivering one hilarious moment after another. Rakul Preet's performance adds the perfect dash of energy, making her an absolute joy to watch. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable, creating a delightful dynamic throughout the film. With punchy dialogues, catchy tunes, and a heartwarming storyline, MHKB is a must-watch for anyone craving that old-school Bollywood magic. Don't miss out on this perfect weekend treat!
In simple words, this movie is a mix of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, De de Pyar De and a little bit of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Imagine all that but worse, wayy worse.
In my opinion the only reason why this film is so bad, is Arjun Kapoor. Casting Arjun Kapoor in a film with a very weak climax and average story is not any good.
The trailer cut was very good, specially seeing Mudassir Azeez directing this got me even more excited and don't get me wrong, it does feel like one of his movies but his film's mostly depends on the main actor, in this case the main actor is Arjun Kapoor and he delivers an average performance, which leads the entire film to be a below average watch.
Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar steal the show with their performance, they give those "cat-fight" vibes which is required for this film.
Many characters were wasted like Harsh Gujral, a great comedian in real like but 0 comedy in the movie. Not just him, there is no comedy in the film, all the punch lines can be compiled into a cringe compilation. However some comedy scenes do actually work and successfully get a smile on your face (only like 2 scenes). Also why was Aditya Seal in the film for no reason?
The more stupid part is the story and screenplay, it starts off very slow, and picks up grip as we go, classic Muddasir Azeez style, but the story feels very dragged on for a long time, and the climax is just, stupid.
The climax looks like a failed attempt to make something like Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Pooja entertainment really needs to step up the game with better production quality and choosing better stories, and if not, try casting actors which actually suit the role. Arjun Kapoor was very out of place for a role like this.
If you really loved Pati Patni Aur Woh or De De Pyar De and want to watch something like that but with cringe jokes and a poorly written climax, then sure go for it.
Would go less than 5 stars but would have to give it to Rakul and Bhumi for their amazing performance.

Mere Husband Ki Wife - A Complete Disaster
I just watched Mere Husband Ki Wife, and honestly, there is nothing good in this movie. The writing is weak, the screenplay is uninspired, and the dialogues are forgettable. From start to finish, it felt like a dull, forced attempt at a romantic comedy that lacked both romance and comedy.
The biggest issue is the main lead's performance. In a film like this, where the story relies heavily on the charm and energy of its lead actor, it's crucial to have someone who can carry the film. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The acting was so unconvincing that it made an already weak script even worse.
A lot of people compared this film to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and I can see why. The story structure feels like a cheap attempt to replicate that film's success. In Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, they brought in Anubhav Singh Bassi for comic relief, and he delivered some genuinely funny moments. Here, they tried to do the same with Harsh Gujral, but it just didn't work. He had one or two decent lines, but overall, his presence didn't add much. Even the supporting cast, which could have helped lift the film, felt underwhelming. No one stood out, and the chemistry between characters was completely missing.
There was not a single moment in the movie that felt fresh or engaging. The dialogue was poorly written, and the jokes felt forced rather than natural. If I were to fix this movie, I would start by completely changing the casting. In My Version, Ranbir Kapoor would take the lead. He has the charisma and acting chops to bring life to a role like this. With a better actor, even an average script can feel entertaining. But here, everything-story, execution, performances-fell flat.
Another frustrating thing is how Bollywood keeps pushing nepotism-driven casting choices. When you don't cast based on talent, this is the result-a film that no one connects with. It's disappointing to see potential wasted like this.
Overall, Mere Husband Ki Wife is a forgettable film with nothing to offer. It had weak writing, poor execution, and a cast that couldn't bring any life to the story. If Bollywood wants to make good rom-coms, they need to focus on strong storytelling and talented actors rather than relying on the same tired formulas.

The movie has good story, at-least not this 4.4 if casting was done properly.
Arjun was not fit for the role, only reason I director choosing Arjun are either nepotism or lobbying.
I would suggest thing were better if Ayushmaan or karthik aryan has choosen for the role.
The story has lot of flaws. Like when actress is pregnant, she goes to cover news in public where running around could happen. In real life no anchor been sent if their health cases is like this.
Since the story is too much face showing of Arjun, it's not done properly. Neither the movie was good neither arjun got anything good from the movie.
