Brilliantly written, great original soundtrack... Would thoroughly recommend!

A group of friends enter restricted grounds without permission with the aim of having a party but strange things start to happen... I won't spoil the story for the viewer, you need to see it yourself!

An original concept, the filmmakers have done a wonderful job of creating an exciting, tense atmosphere that made the whole audience jump out of their seats! The completely original soundtrack is perfect for its purpose and the actors are all believable, drawing the viewer in and keeping them spellbound until slowly the underlying mysteries are revealed..

    Loved it!!

    Decent flick. Kept me interested.

This is not your average horror movie. It has a Cabin Fever feel to it, but is fairly slow moving. The slow pace of the film is not as noticible since the acting is better than most indie movies. It has a subtle yet unnerving feel to the story something that a lot of filmakers can't pull off. With a little tweaking this would be a really good film. Worth a watch.

If you got nothing better to do...

Let me start off by saying I have a realistic star rating, If I'm giving a movie anything lower than 3 stars that means it was shot on a Motorola flip phone with low battery life

Anyway on to the review! Not much to say here though, just as the title says "if you got nothing better to do" throw this on! This film could have benefited greatly from a larger budget!

Good film but with terrible music

I really didn't know what to expect when I watched this film, but I was quite impressed, good acting, good storyline, the only bad thing about this movie is the music, throughout the film the backing music seems to have been written and performed by a child, or someone with no musical talent whatsoever. The music is so bad it lets the film down hugely and at times you simply wish there was none at all, it would be better without the childish soundtrack composed by Daniel Baker. I can only assume that Mr. Baker must have been a very close friend of the producer, or had some financial input towards the production, there's no other explanation as to why he was allowed to ruin this otherwise plausible movie with such terrible backing tracks. In my opinion the film should be re-edited and released with a decent sound track, it would boost the film from a 4/10 to a 7 or 8/10. Good film, rubbish music.

    Who wrote this crap

Nobody tries to get help at all. 4 people are clearly in need of medical help, ut they sit around to smoke a joint and talk about movies. The two clowns that aren't infected sit around and talk about relationships. Can we get 1 horror movie where the people aren't complete morons?

    • Trivia
There are a number of dystopian references in Weaverfish, hinting at the existence of a larger back story than what is directly depicted on screen. The fictional town in which the film is set is called Huxley Wells, combining the surnames of science fiction authors Aldous Huxley and HG Wells. The fictional location, Fountainhead Creek, is also named after Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead". In Weaverfish, the company supplying the barrels of biological solvents is named Aquatopia.
