Easily one of my favorite reality series.

Along with Hollywood treasure this is one of my favorite Reality shows. It's not mindless nonsense it's smart and full of nostalgic toys Jordan Hembrourgh knows the history behind the toys he finds and it makes you think of what you might have in your attic or cellar. Some of the toys i have heard of others i haven't but i learned of them through the show The Great Garloo i have heard little of was featured in an episode and Jordan explained the toys origins and the company that made it.Lot of famous toy companies are mentioned it's also good to see the toy collections that the people Jordan visits have this is not some MTV E! Reality show that is to be made fun of. This is the show to watch if you are a toy buff or just want to see lots of cool valuable toys.

Its Great for Nostalgic musing - The rest is terrible

Love to see the toys as they bring back fond memories. There is a lot of great toy history and interesting trivia shared. But......................In my opinion the shows personalities are just rehashed awfulness Isn't it just American Pickers with Joisey guys ?? ..... Jordan is a snarky B hole of a guy and the guy I thought was Tenacious D is like Jordan's slimy Cosa Nostra based toy consiglieri. The chick, is just eye candy...... Anyway done venting but I find this almost too painful to watch except for the glorious toys Maybe I'm old and being too get off my lawnish but every time I see Jordan I want to sock him in the eye.

Brings back childhood memories, a pop culture treasure, now I wish I would have kept my toys in the pack!

I remember my days as a kid when I for Christmas and birthdays and other occasions would be bought toys to play with as a kid. I cherished my Kenner "Star Wars" action figures and play sets along with loving my "Super Powers" and I would play to death with my "Mego" Batman and Joker figures! And many of those toys I saved only thing is I wish now I would never have taken them out of the card packs, as Jordan Hembrough's show has revealed their worth so much money! I enjoy watching Travel Channel's "Toy Hunter" as collector and seller Jordan travels all over the U.S. finding old vintage and classic toys like figures, and play sets, from the last 40 years. And Jordan will go to toy conventions, flea markets, antique shops and most special of all the homes of toy keepers as those souls have treasures stored in their closets and basements a fortune! And when you see the Kenner "Star Wars" figures and Batman and Joker "Mego" dolls it brings back memories of my and everyone else's beloved childhood! Plus it's nice to see all kinds of toys on the show from color forms, robots, make up kits and everything else! I just wished I would have kept all my stuff in mint to get more money, still my saved toys have a special place in my heart, as "Toy Hunter" has opened up memories of a fond childhood. Overall thanks Jordan your show is a pop culture treasure tribute to the past that makes us all feel like a little kid again.

    Enjoyable show about vintage toys!

I came across this show on the internet a few weeks back. I like the show and I like the zany characters. Well, the sidekick seems kind of like an oddball. But that's okay. The guy travels the country buying toys. Think big expenses of plane tickets (they often show him at the airport), rental cars and hotels. He generally pays in the 50-60% range for the toys he buys. Sometimes more, sometimes less. The thing is that most of his buys are under $100. Way under $100. There's no way you can pay for your travel expenses and pay the same percentages that your local retailer does. And, that's about the percentages that your local stores pay for the items they sell (I was once a big eBay seller and got new goods in by the semi-load. Then I had some heart troubles and had to get out of it. So, I do understand retail). So, we can safely assume that the TV production company is covering Jordan's travel expenses. Anyways, good show. I've enjoyed it.

    • Trivia
Josh Jones from (The Nintendo Quest) was asked to be in the first episode because of his massive toy collection, he declined fearing it was a scam. The producers called him from one of his Craigslist ad asking if hed be ok with a guy (Jordan) coming by and going through all of his toys and possibly buying them. Long story short, after watching the show Josh loved it and now regrets his decision.
