I now realize that Harry and Lloyd were geniuses compared to every character in this movie. Finishing this movie was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. The only character that had any remote likeability was Hannah, but even that was premature. Every single one of them are spoiled, entitled, clueless brats that have had too many "feelings validations". My recommendation to make this movie enjoyable is exchanging these characters with those in Friday the 13th and letting Jason Voorhees do his thing. My greatest fear is the other reviews that gave this movie a 10 prompting more movies like this to be made.

Fransgiving is a beautifully shot and edited film. Is this film for everyone? Probably not, but it's has the makings of a cult classic for the right group. The film shows how a motley crew of characters, all with their own flaws, can come together to create a thanksgiving of their own. With awkward scenes and cringeworthy moments, sometimes you want the characters to do and be better, but their flaws show a caricature of millennial issues. This film isn't trying to push any message or preach on any topic, it is purely for entertainment and for that I love it. I laughed throughout the film and the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously is my favorite part.
This holiday theme film has some well timed laughs and lines that were rather unique. The relationships/conflicts take one down a rather uncomfortable road "somewhat like Side Ways" and then wraps with one appreciating and embracing every character for their uniqueness. The way this movie is told as a documentary makes it entertaining, and different from most. I found myself hanging on to and looking forward to those scenes. The length of the film is perfect for watching watching with a group. Despite some funny raunchy language, appropriate from most late teens and adults. Highly recommend, need more made like this!!

Tropey, cute and a bit raunchy. We all know people like these characters, we all experience tension around the holidays and this movie made me feel a little bit better about my Turkey recipe. It's funny but is matched with some raw emotion. I think that Fran tries her best and really (kinda) does learn a lesson in the end. Mel the heroin addict is hilarious. The best friend Parker is annoying at first, but once she breaks becomes more relatable. Atticus is a total dweeb, and I read online that he is actually a rapper irl. The other boys are just kinda in the background, definitely a female forward film.
A very bland introspective look at the negativity of get togetherness. This Friendsgiving was an absolute mess.
I understand a lot of the nuovo movies need to have that visceral look and feel but this has 6 characters that are totally unlikeable.
The humor is non-existent and the story is slow. I think it was 1 hour and 18 minutes but felt like three hours of nothingness.
I get it, the movie went for that haphazard feel but there was no direction. I really don't understand what is considered humor nowadays.
The formula for humor is to at least get a chuckle and this movie lacks any of this.
