Written in Cyrillic script, the word JAPAM is pronounced "Jaram" , which means yoke in English, but it is often identified as a misspelled Latin alphabet version of the word Japan.

Japam was shot spontaneously, without a screenplay and shooting book. In cooperation with a group of artists, who shared ideas, knowledge and techniques every day on the riverbanks where they spend time in nature, they managed to convey a part of their everyday life inspired by Japan.
