I wish I could give this show a zero. It is really not worth watching. I enjoyed "Fred" as a YouTube bit, some of them were funny and others not so much - but who cared it was a YouTube series. Until now
It was just tonight that I was babysitting and found out that it is a television show. I was curious so I thought I would actually sit with my cousins and watch it. After I sat there wondering WHY!?! It is awful, really terrible. The acting is poor and the writing cheesy. I remember the good old 90's when television programs appealed to both children and adults. I'm disappointed with nickelodeon and their new assembly line of hot garbage they call a lineup. Fred just go back to YouTube, nickelodeon is ruining the funny web series you had started a couple years back.

The modern capacities of this complex narrative are divine. In the span of a couple of months, Tarik felt caught up in a group's energies that he found compelling in a whole new way. He believes that as he got more deeply involved with religious circles, it also helped lead him out of the darkness he had been in since his divorce, to a better place spiritually.

If I could rate this show 0 stars I would.
It is basically a show about a (obviously) insane high school student. Fr3d is annoying enough on a certain video sharing site but it's even worse on the TV! The show is basically him screaming into a video camera! Very boring and unentertaining.
Half of the characters on the show appear to be brain-dead or just plain crazy. Half the stuff on it is inappropriate for younger viewers or just too stupid for older viewers.
You'd have to be brain-dead yourself to enjoy this garbage. Avoid like the plague if you value your brain cells.

"Fred: The Show" has a poor reputation exclusively with people who have never watched it and thus don't understand that it secretly has all the qualities of a cult classic.

Yes, even worse than Chalkzone, iCarly, Rocket Power, Butt Ugly Martians and Zoey 101. A shame really because Nickelodeon has a lot of great shows such as Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats and Avatar the Last Airbender as well as the numerous fun game shows. Fred: The Show is simply dreadful, even worse than the movies and 2008's Fred. The biggest problem for me is Fred himself, Nickelodeon has never had a more annoying character(also one of the most annoying characters ever), not just the exaggerated facial expressions, the stupid things Fred does and how he treats people around him- especially his mother- but especially Lucas Cruishank's voice which is not just nails-on-a-blackboard irritating but also quite creepy sounding. The acting as a whole actually is terrible, the only half-way decent actress being Siobhan Fallon, and the characters are shallow and bland. The writing is not funny at all, in fact it reeks of cheese and the painful dialogue delivery just distracts. A lot of it is repetitive too. The stories are often cliché-ridden(not always a problem but it depends on the quality of everything else), very predictable and there are too many to count scenes also of complete irrelevance and mind-numbing stupidity. Fred: The Show even looks amateurish, even for a teen/family-oriented situation comedy. So all in all, a dreadful show and if there was a vote for the worst show that Nickelodeon has ever aired Fred: The Show is a very, very easy personal pick. 0/10 Bethany Cox
