Hooligans

I loved this episode because it authentically portrays the hooligan and casual culture surrounding football. Ignoring it would be hypocritical, as Wrexham, like almost every football club, has its own hooligan or organized group, however you want to call it. I really appreciate that culture, and the episode does a great job of providing historical context to show how these groups emerged in England, with people defending their clubs in stadiums and viewing visiting fans as invading their territory. Just like hooligans in Great Britain, we have ultras in Italy and Germany, torcidas organizadas in Brazil, barrabravas in Argentina, and similar groups in countries where football is pure passion and emotion.
