I tried to give it a chance because I was a fan of Meghan, but I started to like her less after each episode.
After everything else she's put out, sadly I am no longer a fan.
I hope "Archetypes"(stereotypes, lol) doesn't get another season.
The episodes themselves just seemed very self absorbed, the focus was always on Meghan the most, not the amazing women she was supposedly interviewing.
I guess after Mariah Carey called her a diva, she apparently no longer wanted to personally interview the majority of her guests. She was correct though, Meghan is a diva. Not in the impressive way that Mariah is, but in a pathetic, attention seeking sort of way.

The podcast sounded insincere and fake. The content deserves a word salad award.
The topics were out of date or not relatable and what her ambitions were seemed not to be addressed other then very happy with herself.
I would not recommend this to anyone. Hopefully Spotify will use there resources on someone who actually has something to say or achieved something. After the drama this person has put the royal family through the past 3 years it is sad that she is not held accountable for her statements that have been broadcasted on a worldwide platform without being held accountable for her damaging narratives.

I personally found the podcasts pretty outdated in terms of real life issues women face today. The 'barriers' Meghan Markle discusses in the podcasts have been discussed on so many other occasions and sprinkling some 'celebrity discussion ' into the mix doesn't add much to the wider discussion in my opinion.
Its perhaps harsh to say some of the points are irrelevant, but it could have reached much further into current issues for women in the workplace, looking at lower pay rates and promotion to higher levels of responsibility. Certainly in the UK there's plenty of evidence to support these discussions. Evidencing the barriers with facts and data rather than anecdotal stories adds more weight to the argument.
In addition I struggle with Meghan Markle as a presenter of this series. She has used this platform and others to forward her own agenda and whether her allegations are true or false they affect her credibility as a presenter which is another issue in my view.
As a Spotify customer i hope they can find more credible input to pay for in the future.

I'm afraid I found it too hard to listen for more than a couple of minutes at a time. What a farce. I understand many of her guests were not even in the room with her which of course gave her the opportunity to talk about her favourite subject - herself.
The subject matter was, for the most part, not archetypical or even stereotypical - I'm not sure how they applied to the majority of listeners or even to Markle herself. It felt as if she was clutching at straws and her podcasts were, of course, peppered with veiled threats to the British Royal Family which she squeezed in between talking about a Meghan. Terrible.

The woman has such a divisive & questionable personality, reading most comments here reflects exactly that. 10/10 or 1/10. I can say objectively "all that glitters isn't gold" having famous guests does not make for good quality content. The recurrence of topics that revolve around Markle personal problems and her image, makes the whole thing not very relatable and interesting for the average person.
It turns out that from the very beginning the tone is set, everything will revolve around what she holds as prejudices against herself and which she then calls archetypes. It's time to have more height and a real desire to use your platform to help and not for personal glory.
