Sleek Geo Political Espionage thriller by John Abraham and Team
Kudos to John Abraham for finding niche audience with movies like Diplomat and now Tehran.
Furthermore, it's more like israeli Espionage thriller which we earlier encountered at OTT.
Awaiting more reception from Indian mainstream audience to acknowledge such movies.

If you're drawn to realistic, action-oriented thrillers grounded in actual geopolitical events, this film is likely for you.
John Abraham delivers a confident action-heavy performance, though emotional resonance may not be his strongest suit.
The technical craftsmanship - from visuals to music to production design - stands out.
That said, if you expect tight, emotionally complex storytelling or a female lead with substantial narrative weight, the film may underwhelm in those areas .
For viewers who lean toward raw realism, political tension, and strong visual storytelling, "Tehran" offers a solid watch. Just be prepared for its deliberate pacing and a narrative that favors atmosphere over emotional depth.

Far better than war2 and coolie...
Most watched movie. Amazing performance by john abraham and most importantly that all characters perform objectively good, superb story line which defines the face of R&AW. Must watch ones if you want to experience the new story.. not a common india pak patriotic same one.
Tehran doesn't offer neat resolutions, and that's part of its brilliance. RK's mission is filled with moments where he could give up yet he doesn't. The interplay between political pressure, personal loss, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth is what makes this more than just another spy thriller. The abandonment by his own country feels like the ultimate betrayal, but also the ultimate test of his character. This is a film that stays with you, urging you to think about the hidden costs of national security games.
The brilliance of Tehran lies in its ability to immerse you in a world where the line between ally and enemy dissolves with every step RK takes. The film captures the suffocating paranoia of espionage every shadow could hide a pursuer, every handshake could mask a betrayal. When the Indian government washes its hands of him, the emotional blow is as severe as any physical threat he faces. From that moment on, RK's mission transforms into a personal crusade, driven less by orders and more by the burning need to be heard and vindicated.
