Poor Herman

Not sure if my comment review is public or private but...Remember that one film all your friends laughed about and ruined for you before you got to see it? Napoleon Dynamite was mine. This literally could be a cult favorite like that bc has all the elements that are stupid good ... the things maybe mom and dad won't laugh at but all the kids at school think are brilliant. I just try to watch before friends do so the jokes aren't given away or ruin film for me.... Anywayz, I don't know who fav actor or actress was bc casted very clever. I even loved the shorter roles ... the bartender was so cute!! The cop and the mama ... the mama was scary good at the dark creep role. Anyways... a hilariously witty message driven indie... a must watch before your friends ruin it for you! No joke.

My thoughts ... unless you hate horror films or dark comedy, ya can't hate this film. I don't see any bad reviews yet but I'm sure they'll sneak their way in. The satire makes fun of different areas in modern society, so not any agenda or political side preference. I don't advise anyone to watch who doesn't have sense of humor or laugh at the intentionally dumb fun girls.... prob not a film for elderly or rigid or super young. A lot of swearing and suggestive behavior. I really liked this film a lot but I enjoy the humor and the characters. So only recommend to peeps who share an open minded, non "judgmental" religious or political view point... all in good humor and fun.

The acting is terrible.

The sound is terrible.

The camera work is terrible.

The lighting is terrible.

The story (as far as I watched of it) is.... terrible.

I knew this would be the case as the reviews are all TEN'S. C'mon people, if you're going to make fake reviews so as to boost the rating, at least go with something reasonable. Maybe try a SEVEN, people will still watch a film that's a seven.

But, what they know is that all real reviews will be ONE'S, so it will make the rating plummet like a brick.

I managed to watch about thirteen minutes of this bilge before knowing I'd seen enough.

Steer clear, ignore the bum reviews.

The comedy cues are freakin funny and the music sounds crept me out on the scary scenes.

Great creepy awkward soundtrack. Acting was superb and will keep following these performers to see what they do next .... It's goofy and pretty dark and superrr sad (and disturbing, but then again "satire", eyy?) in areas, but a good funny indie. I'd say, one of the better dark indie horrors in a longgg time... more humor, which came natural in this film with actors chemistry it seems and what's often needed in average horror to even entice me....

Didn't hear sound issues as I saw in a different previous review, though some jokes were quiet to catch but too good, so I did flip subtitles on and died laughing. Was a dope film and I watched with Amazon Prime, great quality on that streaming service ... more so than on FlixWest in my opinion... so streaming service does makes a quality difference, though FlixWest is awesome to cater to indie films and applaud their efforts.

So honestly, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into before watching this film. I wanted something for Halloween and to get in the spirit. I put the film on thinking it would run in background on my tv, but I actually tuned into it! Okay.... was hilarious. The dynamics and girls on screen chemistry was so good. I laughed so hard. It took a darker turn later on which is evident in horror and I knew what I originally signed up for, but ultimately was engaged. It's an indie film which is impressive. I didn't know indie films could have good acting in it LMAO! They were like real good too. Definitely will watch a lot more and prob will add to Halloween binge list for future Halloweens. Herman actor did amazing job! His story was so sad and made me cringe. Def dark societal problems involved with comedic twist throughout. Satire dark comedy more than horror, to be honest. But glad I watched instead of left in background rolling.
