Kidnapped Souls

A serial killer is kidnapping victims of both sexes, holding them captive and murdering them at leisure with a bit of torture thrown in. A routine thriller, right? Wrong. The film begins with the one woman to have escaped his clutches, but she can tell the police very little; the guy was wearing a mask. With the inevitable flashbacks it becomes clear that there is a lot more to his victims than meets the eye. One of them confesses to the group that he raped a woman he'd had the hots for. The other girl confesses to casting a spell on two rivals, who were then involved in a car accident that left them permanently incapacitated. The second male victim, a street gang member, confesses to beating to a pulp the youth who knocked up his sister, leaving him severely brain damaged. This begs the question, what has the stunningly attractive Nikki done to warrant her fate? Are they perhaps waiting in an ante-room to Hell, and is their jailer a demon? There is a real twist in the tale, one you may not quite understand, but perhaps you are not meant to. For a low budget film where almost all the action takes place in a barn or a police interview room, "Kidnapped Souls" takes some beating.
