Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku

It had potential, and after watching the first few episodes I thought it might be one of those anime masterpieces that comes in once or twice a year. But the anime gradually started to become monotonous and repetitive. Anime can be divided into three as the beginning, middle and end, and while the first part promises a really high quality anime, it gets monotonous towards the middle, and at the end, they put an unexpected "boss battle" that has nothing to do with the main anime or its story, but even if it wasn't there, the anime would not be missing, frankly, the author did not know what to write. When I had such high expectations, I was very disappointed.

It is a nice Anime with good proof of how this kind of stories still work out with the correct approach. I wouldn't call this series "underrated" or "hidden gem" thought, because it got the rate it deserves, something that the series itself acknowledges. The short skit format, which helps in some aspect, also limits some others, but it's not that the series is wasting its own potential; it preferred to keep it like that, being a more lightweight story with a deeper background, but scratching the surface. It's a serie that is perfectly enjoyable for what it is, but hardly will be remembered except for some few punctual moments, and THIS IS PERFECTLY FINE, the series is fine by itself...but just that, fine, which at the same time is kind of sad..............
