The original raw footage of "Something Wicked Dwells" was stolen off set by the director's assistant on the final day of shooting. After several months of legal challenges, the assistant demanded Director's credit, $50,000.00 in damages, DBA papers and all Ownerships. Mr. Riddle was legally advised to leave the assistant 'holding the baby' and walk away; which he did. In the summer 2016, Mr. Riddle received an anonymous email stating exactly where the raw footage was hidden and why she/assistant stole the hard drive. Mr. Riddle presented the email and witness statement to the FBI and Los Angeles authorities. The FBI now has her listed in its international database. The raw footage has to this date never been surrendered.
