Hobby Man

Another vehicle for Alex Brooker, who probably needs to be doing less for risk of over exposure. He does seem to be on everything right now.

While he is always engaging, this proves to be another fine, middling programme, that shows off his likable charm to good effect.

Equally though however, it will never be a big ratings winner, or indeed a good programme. The 'friends' has along for the ride also feel like people who are desperate to boost their own profiles too.

I hope Mr Brooker finds a better format soon, because this isn't it, despite the heavy Channel 4 promotion trying to convince us otherwise.
