Sector 36 is a compelling cinematic experience that excels in several key areas. The film's cinematography and overall filmmaking are notably impressive, creating a visually engaging and polished final product. The cast delivers strong performances, with Deepak Dobariyal standing out for his extraordinary portrayal, which many consider a career-defining role.
Vikrant Massey plays a cunning character who, while not embodying the traditional traits of a criminal, offers a satisfying performance that adds to the film's intrigue. The film's pacing and narrative structure are well-crafted, delivering key plot points and twists at just the right moments.
The film also benefits from Netflix's commitment to quality content, as evidenced by its effective use of budget and resources. Symbolic scenes, such as the cockroach being crushed and the reel Ravan chasing the real Ravan, are particularly noteworthy for their depth and creativity. Overall, Sector 36 is a strong entry in its genre, deserving of a high rating and recognition for its impressive execution.

Movie is good but could be more detailed.
Nithari case is huge & unfortunate and could not be told in a 2 hours' movie.
A limited series shall be launched on this case.
Movie is dark and will make you stick to the screen.
Casting is perfect.
Both, Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal have done justice with their roles.
In real life, both the culprits of the crime have been released from the jail due to the lack of evidence.
Though, the movie is only inspired by the true events and is a work of fiction (that's what they say in their disclaimer).
Movie somewhat showcased the politics between judiciary and police.

The movie was okay but I felt the ending was missing, they could have added more information in the end or could have had a better ending to the story.
In the first half of the movie around 15-20 mins, it was holding me there completely but after that, I felt it was stretching the story.
I liked the acting of Vikrant Massey and I admire him for all the hard work he puts into the movies to make them perfect but personally, I don't wanna see him doing this kind of movie after watching great role/acting in his in all movies like 12th fail, Forensic, Broken , Hasin Dilrubba, Love Hostel, and Chappak.
I had expected more from this movie but it was average for me.

Sector 36" delivers a chilling portrayal of the infamous Nithari serial murders, capturing the darkest aspects of human nature. Vikrant Massey's performance as the psychopathic killer is both unsettling and captivating, while Deepak Dobriyal shines as a dedicated cop battling corruption.
The film maintains a gripping, suspense-filled narrative, masterfully balancing horror and investigation. Its dark cinematography enhances the bleak themes, creating an intense viewing experience.
Not for the faint-hearted, but a must-watch for those who can handle its raw exploration of violence and corruption.
Rating: 4.5/5 Recommendation: Watch if you can stomach disturbing content.

Tone, Script & Story: The story is about children going missing in sector 36 and nearby areas in Delhi.
As shown in the trailer, there is no search for the culprit. It is established since the beginning who it is.
What grabs ones attention is the way how culprit confesses? He has no shame. He is insane and fearless.
The crime involves killing, chopping, consuming, selling organs of innocent individuals. The crime against about 25 people is confessed most of them being children.
The movie is depressing. The culprit has his associate among some bigger name. Despite the confession the culprits are set loose. Further into the investigation an officer is killed additionally. It happens because of involvement of men in power. We can see his missing poster as well.
Acting: Acting from all of the cast is executed well. After 12th fail Vikrant Massey's performance is worth mentioning.
Final Verdict: I wanted a positive ending. The movie is inspired from true events. What are makers trying to convey? Is the horror still existing? I will say watch it if u can accept negative ending and for the captured confession.

- TriviaThe Nithari incident from which the movie is inspired happened in a house in Sector 31 , Noida in UP. The name of the movie states Sector 36 which is adjacent to Sector 31 in Noida and not the exact Sector where the crime was committed. Also movie makers have taken cinematic liberty in placing the incident in Delhi rather than in Noida.
- GoofsSPOOF: When the sub-inspector is murdered in the car, he is shown being stabbed 12 times. However, in the following scene, when his body appears again, his shirt only has four visible stab wounds, the same ones shown in the initial frame. The other eight stab wounds seem to have left no marks on his shirt, creating a noticeable continuity error.
