    hommage to life

Impressive work, at the first and the second view. Wise and fascinating use of CGI. But, more important, a powerful message. It is a great short animation. For "the skin", of course, but, more important, for message. Because it is a cerebral hommage to life. Using technology but not being reduced at the fascination of the tricks using it. A precise message about the apparition of life, about evolution, about death and resurrection. So , just spectacular in all senses.

    beautiful

The animation is more relevant than the story. and, if in many cases, this could be a sin, in this case is the inspirated option. because it is a film about life and mankind , and future. and the technology gives the right help for a film with status of warning, in which the story has a different status by the expected one. because it is a complete show. and a parable. about the risky choices.

Prime example of a new wave of abstract parable

Thanks to the increasing power of resources and availability of digital tools to the world's population, we get short films such as this, entirely CGI animated without dialogue or particular characters. Instead, it tells a story using abstract forms in sequences of implied causality. Interesting for the cerebral among us. The form, though existing on occasion as 2D traditional animation sprinkled across past decades, offers much more visual spectacle when rendered as CGI. Perhaps a new frontier in visual narrative.
