The show is pathetic. I am very surprised at Judge Mathis for him to have anything to do with this mess.
It is obvious the plaintiff and defendant were told to become dramatic to include the audience. The show is on the scale of Jerry Springer without steroids. An insult, showing people's ignorance for 5 minutes of public shame. No judge would allow people to come in their Court dressed like those people. WTF is going on with in this Country.
The Judges appears to have any control over the Court. I watch the show twice and my head started to hurt. The screaming and broken vocabulary is horrible. I am a woman of color an I'm embarrassed. Mathis could have invested in something much more positive. People are wondering why struggling people with little education lacks respect and are disrespected, because of being exploited by their own. Young people should not have to be exposed to stupidity for other people to make a buck. People should value their morals and have some integrity.

The third week was when I started to notice it's trashy side. The plaintiff hollering, and I mean HOLLERING at the defendant was just disgusting! That judge kept order in the court, but I was so turned off!
Fast forward to the next week (September 14th), first case the litigants are just yelling and carrying on towards each other in the most disgraceful fashion! You can't tell me they weren't being dramatic on purpose just so they could build their social media presence!
I looked up the show's hashtag on Instagram and found the profile of one of the litigants who came to "sue his ex". They never broke up and people in his comments were calling his appearance a fraud and an attempt to gain Instagram fame. Lame!
Could barely hear anything from the Florida case (don't think they every went back to it) and haven't seen the third judge at all (she must have quit!) and again, litigants being BEYOND dramatic for no reason!
There is a reason why I don't watch jerry springer or Maury. As a matter of fact even Jerry's court show was much more orderly! Don't get me started on that woman judge in the studio! Why is she so loud!!!?? Why is judge Mathis on this crap?!!
It's one thing to set up a court in a bar, but it's another thing to have the court audience CLEARLY drinking alcohol and going as far as to tag themselves on IMDb as an audience member. Clearly all actors and the litigants are mainly people seeking social media clout. I don't have time for this crap!

Sad, sad, sad. Judges that can't control a courtroom, a lack of evidence shown to the tv audience, and an annoying host that tries to dress and look like Dan Abrams. The only positives are the expert opinions and explanations from the two judges in the studio. Without them, the show would be incomprehensible.
Hey A&E, here's an idea, BRING BACK LIVE PD! Your ratings will thank you.....

I was so excited for this show to come out. Boy was I disappointed. I love court/crime shows. With this being live and allowing viewers to vote I thought it was a win for sure! It seems fake with bad actors and drama being played up for the camera. It was horrible. I couldn't make it through a whole episode the two nights I tried to watch. I am so disappointed because this could have been an amazing concept. Bring back LivePD. Or at least bring back Neighborhood Wars. Loved the shows they dropped to out this mess on tv. It is more Jerry Springer/Maury Povich than a court show. Zero respect for the actual court system.
This is the WORST show I've ever seen. It's so bad it belongs on the Justice Central Network and that's pretty bad. The "litigants" were not believable and the judges couldn't (or wouldn't) keep control. I'm ashamed of A&E for airing this show.
