First of all, please disregard the reviews from wwwminaninamn and minabaibe - fans of mediocre IloSen are just as pathetic as their idol.

The truth is first two episodes of RU series are amazing, captivating and just beautifully done from script-cinematic-acting perspective.

Meryem and BBA play really good, they both do their best to portrait their complicated characters in this exciting story. And the rest of cast is doing a great supporting job, each one is chosen precisely!

Great acting is captured by very talented directing, one just can't get enough of how beautiful is the picture. The soundtrack also adds to the magical atmosphere of the Aegean region.

A must-must watch for everyone!

"Ru" is actually a mediocre series that started off really well but fell apart after the third episode and unfortunately had a terrible ending.

I think that the scriptwriter looked at it and said, "I can't write a decent ending for this story on its own flow, let me come up with something out of nowhere so that people will be surprised at least."

My friend, writing a series or a movie is not like that. You can't draw a path outside the main focus of a story whose main subject is the relationship between two people!

The acting of everyone except Meryem Uzerli is disgraceful. I have never seen a team that can't identify with the characters so much. From Emre Karayel to the guy who played Tumsek, from Uzer's friends (Mete was a bit better) to the guest actress Gonca, everyone was terrible, unfortunately. I'm not even going to get into Sevval Sam's ridiculous style...

Probably won't happen again.

But;;

1) Even french doesn't show this much nudity. A little bit too much.... Okay. (1st try. Acceptable. Maybe to get more audience horny crowd.)

2) The sick mother's hair looks irritatingly fake.

Coundn't watch her scenes without noticing that furry hair. (After awhile just , got used to it)

3) German turk lady. Accent is distracting.

You know when a movie suck you in, you never think about they are acting right now. .. but with that accent , i got outside frequently.

* *) At 1st episode lady shouting her husband scene, normal turk woman wouldn't shout like that.

I said to myself "this can happen in real life person can be half Turkish, might have accent.."

---- If you can Put all these little annoyances aside.

The series is ok. Good . Decent enough to watch.

I just watched 2 episodes back to back and I loved it. I really liked the script, directing, music score, and actor performances.

The series continues on by taking you to the beautiful scenes of the Aegean region without getting boring and makes you wonder what's going to happen next.

Along with the Bahadir Karatas's amazing directing the music score by Ahmet Leo Vural is absolutely amazing I think it plays a big role in the series and it really adds up to it. The music that plays at the end of the first episode gives you goosebumps.

In summary outstanding drama that I've never seen anything a like in Turkey which makes the RU so unique in a good way. Well done to those who took a part of it. I highly recommend watching the series to anyone.

First of all, I have to be honest that is this serie is not one star because the series receives more than one star receives at least four but not more than that. The reason it deserves four stars it's because of the actor work zafer alagoz. Unnecessary nakedness is the biggest disappointment of this streaming platform and this cheap story. Segs sells is an old quote. This series also implies that there is romance. Which is cheap. The main character in the series which is at least two minutes naked every episode is also a very weird disappointment. Nobody will understand why she speaks this terrible Turkish and tries to explain to the viewer that her father is Swedish really lol.
