First of all, the lead actress, Ivy McGrew, is stellar. She has a very bright future ahead of her. Whether you like horror films or not, she is one of the most engaging performers I have seen in a long time - up there with Jodie Foster in my humble opinion.
The visual effects at the end are very good. The film seems to have a sci-fi element to it in relation to the fruit that is being eaten from the meteor hole. Since the film is so short, there is not a lot of elaboration as to what happened with the meteor hole.
Chris Evans and Marcus Morton also did a really good job. The enigmatic story is less important in light of the great performances. 15 minutes leads us to ask more questions than are answered but all in all a very good film.
