    Enjoyable but imperfect anime

Overall a very watchable series, with an ending, if imperfect.

Pros: -Animation. (strong colors, characters, etc) -Music. (Fantastic score, opening and closing credits) -Initial plot. (Some Trope use, but the politics was a nice angle)

Cons: -Starts to loose it's way in season 2. -Tropes. -Ending Plot some really hate. -Very "short" Ending.

It Falls under a number of genre categories (Action, dystopia, political thriller, some mecha etc)

    Really Worth the Watch

I just finished watching guilty crown and i must say i am baffled. The idea in the first place is very original and very exciting. The anime does an excellent job of portraying the events and expressing the idea. The animations and soundtrack are terrific and the dubb quality is top of the notch. One will find many discouraging reviews for this show. I say that they are right to a certain degree, the characters could use more development but otherwise it would be a ten over ten. The ending is very satisfying and not too rushed. There are a few plot twists along the way and the story is very exciting. As i said before, the only drawback is the lacking character development in some cases. Animations: 10 Soundtrack: 10 Events: 9 Character Development: 7 Dub and Sub quality(English): 10 Overall score: 9/10

The First Part of the Story Transcends Other Anime, but the Second Part is disappointing.

The anime is divided into 2 parts. The first part, (Ep. 1-12) and the second. (Ep 13-22) The first part is astonishing; notwithstanding, the second is not really fun.

Basically, this anime has outstanding graphics for an anime that was made in 2011. Also, it had an exceeding music and VCs. However, the storyline was a little confusing.

As I said, the first part of the story is great. A lot of supense, a rebel-ike story like the Hunger Games series, etc. When I was watching the first part of the anime, I was wondering why people loathed this show a lot. This show stayed in my mind when I went to sleep, and this show even inspired me a little.

I was a little confused about the storyline on the second part. There were some of the parts where they explained, but the show didn't really explain why some of the characters acted like this and why their minds have changed. When I was watching the second part of the show, it felt like a hacker was controlling the anime. It was going really good on the first part, but when the "Shu King" part showed up, it was not really good.

    Alright

This was the first proper anime I have ever watched. The plot was quite interesting. I found it a bit fast paced and confusing, but that's just a personal thing. It would have been nice to have learnt about some of the characters more.

I've never seen such a mess ever before

Where do I even start with this one? Let's start with the good things about this show. The animation is gorgeous. There are really some epic art bombs in this show that make you forget how bad the story is. The music is absolutely beautiful, and I have it about the sang music, not the standard epic fight music that was decent. The show starts with this beautiful song that makes you think your gonna watch something epic. And after the first episode that thought was gone. But I continued watching. After a few episodes, I came to notice that I didn't like a character in this show. Especially the main love interest for our main character. I absolutely hated her in the first half of the show. The second part is defiantly better, much slower paced and a story that's not as thrown at your face than the first half. And then the ending happened... The shortest, anti-climactic, stupidest ending ever. If it weren't for the animation and the music this show would have gotten a lot lower from me.
