Um Broto Legal

I like the effort to bring late 1950's in Brazil to the big screen. However, the movie seems nothing more than a period soap opera, with flat script, bad dialogues and poor acting (particularly, Murilo Armacolo and Marianna Alexandre, who play the leading roles!). At least music score is nice. Indeed, good singers are not Murilo Armacolo and Marianna Alexandre, who use very fragrantly "playback". Embarassing. By the way, just like the tepid documentary Celly & Tony Campello: Os Brotos Legais, this fictionlized biography from three years later also shows how Eduardo Chacon, Celly's husband, undermined her carrer since the very beginning (despite also having the ridiculous condescending conclusion in favor of him as if it were a free decision by hers).
