The anime is a fun and lighthearted take on the shonen genre. Mash is a lovable protagonist who is always eager to fight for what he believes in. He is also incredibly strong, which makes for some exciting fight scenes. The supporting cast is also enjoyable, with characters like Lance, Dot, and Merle providing plenty of laughs.

This is a combination of Harry Potter, One Punch Man, and Black Clover. Throw in some ultra goofiness and the power of friendship for a complete picture. If you're good with that it can be fun.
The above stated, it does nothing new. That's not a problem if the familiar is well done, but it isn't. From the combat, quirkiness of the hero, villains introduced and friends found, it's all very much common and uninspired. There's some okay humor but it's exactly what you'd expect for anyone familiar with standard anime tropes.
I hope there's more to this in the coming seasons, but as it stands right now Mashle is a forgettable experience.

At first glance, you think it's another anime where you have to defeat someone, but after watching the first episodes, you understand that it's something new.
In summary, it's about a boy who has no magical abilities, but instead he is very strong. The protagonist is not very smart (nicely expressed) and is forced to go to a magic school to become the best mage, without magic skills.
The genre is comedy, adventure and fantasy. The jokes are like in "Onepunchman". The story is not perfect and is often silly but it fits the story quite well.
I advise you to watch it if you like "Onepunchman" or "Mob psycho 100".

Parody anime has a mixed bag of results. Tropes from other anime or live-action settings are parodied, but to truly stand out, a work of humor must constantly be spot-on; sadly, this one fell short consistently. It is plainly a spoof of magic schools such as Hogwarts, but in most cases, it just doesn't work that well. You might think I'm "taking a parody anime too seriously," but there wasn't much to enjoy when the majority of the characters were the biggest jerks with no real depth.
I recently received a box of cream puffs, so if this animation was meant to be a commercial, it was a success.
Mashle's second season was a letdown, despite not really being that different from the first. But that's the issue. Mashle was intended to be a parody of fantasy themes, particularly those related to Harry Potter, but it stumbled into the same pitfall that most parodies do. Rather than deliberately mocking the clichés seen in fantasy literature, it exaggerates them to cover up the shoddy writing.

Mashle isn't what I expected! This is the funniest anime I have ever watched. Mashle is not only funny but delivers on the action and the story too. Mash is one of the most likeable MCs I've ever seen in an anime. If you like One Punch Man, you'll definitely get a kick out of this one! I also don't find any of the side characters boring or annoying, which is kind of a surprise because there's always this one side character which I dislike even on my favourite animes. The only problem I have with Mashle is that Mash kinda befriends everyone he faces as an opponent at the end of their fights. Maybe this is intentional, but that is probably the only thing I kind of dislike about this show.
