A Tale About Sodeok-dong II

Too many shows drag out impending, even obvious, plot lines for 5, 10, even 15 episodes. Sometimes even another season.

But not EAW. It nails the timing of major reveals and encounters with pinpoint accuracy. And it doesn't leave you screaming at your TV going, "WTF, why doesn't he (or she) simply do X, Y, or Z".

The lead actress is simply amazing. And the chemistry between all the principles, even the antagonists, is a joy to watch. I simply cannot get enough of this gem.

July 27th seems so far away! (it is literally tomorrow)

This show contains many great scenes and most of the actors are great, but the best is the leading lady. However the mother is also great even though she was in only a few scenes so far (eps 8.) The last scene where the daughter revealed the facts, the camera concentrate on the mother's face. You can see the subtle changes of emotion on her face. A masterclass of understated acting.

I don't want this series to stop. The performance of the leading lady is absolutely incredible and the scene with her mother at the end was both beautiful and heartbreaking.
