      The first cartoon in this episode, Can You Take It (1934) comes from Fleischer Studios it's from early 1934, not even a year into Popeye's 24-year long animated motion picture career, featuring the original voice of Popeye, William Costello. Costello had previously been the voice of Gus Gorilla from the radio show, "Betty Boop and Her Gang" before being selected to portray Popeye the Sailor.
