There's emotional reciprocity involved with giving compliments. Seeing someone else happy, especially when you were the one who made them happy, in turn makes you happy. It's one of the simplest ways to boost someone else's mood as well as your own. Compliments really are one of the easiest two-way streets available to spread happiness around you and increase your own. The more you compliment, the better you feel. We know it can feel awkward sometimes to dish out a compliment-and to receive one-but the more practice you get, the more natural it will feel Here are a hundred ready-made compliments to try out for yourself. Such compliments can work.
This movie was a comfort movie, the acting was great on most of the part. The 2 main characters the grandma and the grandpa did really good. The story and the aesthetic was beautiful, and made viewers feel at home. I could only give this film a 7 because it was average with the way the dialogues were written. Especially for the granddaughter who made every scene cringe with the way she spoke and acted. Maybe she would have done better if she had better lines, but other than that actors like Arun Kurian did a great job. I only wished there would be more back story to what happened and how some of the characters ended up the way they did. Overall this movie was calm but just long on other parts while still being funny occasionally. I could say you could watch it once and not get bored of it.
The first time I watched the movie, after about 20 minutes I couldn't continue watching it. It felt like a rush. So many characters being introduced, so many lame jokes. The movie is shot and edited in a unique way. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. There are so many beautiful shots in this movie - like where they move the bed of the lead character, but at the same time some shots look like its from an advert.
I decided to give it a second chance because of amazing reviews from other people. The second part is where everything happens and story gets interesting. The story is very relevant in this day and age. There are still some unnecessary scenes in second half too, but much better. The make-up artist deserves a National Award or something. Even in close up scenes the makeup looked so perfect. Vijayarakhavan's and Leela's performances were commendable.

Fantastic is an understatement to describe this movie and there's sooo much to say😃
-Vijayaraghavan sublimed the role by giving it a new definition. If it were an actual older actor, we wouldn't have to expect anything, but because it was Vijayaraghavan, it was exciting to see what he would bring to the table.
His walk, his talk, and mannerisms solidified his performance all the way. He really lived like an older person
-The plot was original as it centered on older people and addressed an extremely sensitive issue. So while watching, we were putting ourselves in Ichoy's and Ichamma's shoes, trying to figure out what we would do.
The movie also highlighted something important, it's not because older people have come to an advanced age that they no longer have rights, their needs should never be suppressed even if they only have few days to live.
-the screenplay was excessively rich in characters, it even put a spotlight on a dog & a cow friendship😆 Basil Joseph & Vineeth Sreenivasan intensified the humor with their awkward love-hate relationship. Ichoy's family was realistically structured with a daughter suffering from Alzeimer and a lost son
-What can we say about the direction and the cinematography? Ganesh didn't waste time, about 15min into the film, the climax was already ignited, and the fact that new faces were gradually added along the scenario, it made the story even more interesting
Anend C Chandran's attention to the littlest details and even the sound. Wow! We loved him in Bheesma Parvam and we love him in Pookkaalam.
