I have to admit, the movie did surprise me more than I thought it would. And it's not only in the title and what it means to one (or more) of the character(s) in the movie. It's also the story and the character arcs themselves. There are things that are obvious and then there are things that aren't.
It's for the viewer to decide, what is obvious and if it actually is that obvious and what that would mean. Sounds complicated? It isn't and the movie actually does more than a decent job telling a story, even if let's say you know where this is going (for whatever reason). There might even be room for a repeat viewing. If you don't expect much ... you'll get a lot

I was suspicious at first, but it was quite good actually.
The acting of Bess was excellent!

I normally do not watch movies with this type of plot-line because I find the same old tired tropes used again and again. However, the director here made, in my opinion, a refreshing, touching, and realistic movie that gave fresh depth and character to the story.
I was left guessing who the protagonist and antagonist were until the very end, and the ending was well acted, with realistic characters who acted the way I thought someone in their positions would, not the way an audience would be screaming at them not to.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a suspense/thriller/romance/horror.

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. It is very effective in creating a suspenseful thriller vibe. Throughout the entire movie you will be continually guessing who the crazy one is. Or maybe it's not as simple as that. One thing I know for sure is that apparently it sucks to be the school sports star.
The movie is full of talented young actors who have lots of potential and manage to shine in a low budget film. They have put everything into their characters that it feels completely plausible. It's creepy to think that this sort of situation hasn't happened more often.
If you have considered watching this movie then take the plunge. It is totally worth it.

Finally a movie that could really surprise me. I really don't know why it has such low ratings. It is an enjoyable movie; no bad acting, horrible writing or predictable storyline, like many other movies do. And Lucas Till is always lovely
