    Grandeur of Delusions

Non Compos Mentis will put awful high budget movies to shame. It was done on zero budget, yet it looks like it had a decent budget to accomplish all the hard work that went into this movie. The collaborations of amazing artists made this movie a beautiful work of art. The scenes were shot with great attention to detail, such as the contrast, angles, and lighting. The film is heavy with dialogue that includes philosophical and psychological matters, yet the hilariousness of the film balances out the heavier subject matters. As a fan of character studies, this film did not disappoint. The actors were cast perfectly to portray these mostly neurotic characters. The witty dialogue had me bursting out with laughter at moments, and then in deep analysis at other times. I left the theater in awe.

    Mayhem at its finest

It's really amazing what people can do with limited budgets, if they have a vision. Led by some very talented actors and an obviously talented director, this insane genius of a movie deals with a slightly delusional small-time crook and his misadventures. It was really quite funny and had the audience laughing from start to finish. Without giving away too much, let's just say that "Jerry" is a gas-huffing semi-schizoid lunatic who barely has control of his life, and that he's surrounded by equally disastrous characters, none o whom have a grasp on much either. Add to that some seriously deranged relationship issues and you've got a lot of fun... If you're looking for a fun indie movie with a bizarre plot and sharp turns of phrase throughout, then look no further.
