Remember those celebrities who seemed to be everywhere you looked? The ones who graced every magazine cover, starred in the biggest shows, and dominated entertainment news? The entertainment industry is known for its unpredictable nature, where fame can be as fleeting as a shooting star. For every Tom Cruise or Jennifer Aniston who has maintained their A-list status for decades, there are countless others who fade from the spotlight.

Jaden Smith performed on stage, showcasing his journey from actor to music artist (Photo Credit – Facebook)
Jaden Smith’s rise to fame came fast. At just 8, he starred alongside Will in The Pursuit of Happyness, kicking off his Hollywood career. By 2008, he was solidifying his star power in The Day the Earth Stood Still, and by 2010, he was front and center in The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan. His role in After Earth in 2013 was another highlight, but then, Jaden pulled back—he was ready to shift focus to music.
By 2014, after The Good Lord Bird, Jaden hit pause on acting to dive into his true passion: music. He dropped his debut mixtape, The Cool Tape, following his early collaboration with Justin Bieber on Never Say Never. It wasn’t just a career move—it was Jaden finding his voice and stepping out of his parents’ shadow to make his mark as a musician.

Jaden Smith doesn’t mind dropping his last name? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Jaden Smith and Will Smith are probably Hollywood’s most excellent father-son duos. Although the two had their fair share of conflicts, their relationship has always felt vibrant. Jaden’s debut on-screen with Will in The Pursuit of Happyness showcased their special bond. Over the years, the two have worked on other creative projects, shared laughs, and sometimes even fashion statements.
While Will is known for being a supportive dad, Jaden isn’t afraid to do his own thing. As Jaden craves his own space in music and film, his presence in the industry is no less impressive. Despite growing up as Will’s son, he has always been under the spotlight, but there was a time when he took steps to make his own identity.

Days of Our Lives (Dool) spoilers suggest that there is always a glimmer of hope that a long-dead character can return to a soap.
When it comes to Abigail Dimera (last played by Marci Miller), this can of worms was recently opened wide when Clyde Weston (James Read) first hinted that Chad Dimera’s (Billy Flynn) wife was not dead.
Upon investigation, fans *almost* got their hopes up after “Abigail” (AnnaLynn McCord) entered the picture.
Dool viewers were disappointed to learn that fake “Abby” is working with her brother, Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), to pull the wool over Chad’s eyes, but even more saddening is a recent scene from the soap that proves Abby will never (ever) return to the canvas.

As much as classic Doctor Who fans hate to admit it, romantic tension between the Doctor and their companions is part of the formula. Eight was a dashing lead alongside Grace Holloway, Ten and Rose’s love story has been well documented, while Fifteen’s flirtation with almost-companion Rogue has us hoping that Jonathan Groff will board the Tardis again. And heck, long-time Whovians know all about the behind-the-scenes marriage of Four and Romana II.
So it’s understandable that some fans feel a bit of disappointment about the way things ended up between Jodie Whittaker’s 13th Doctor and Yaz, her most consistent companion. Despite the clear attraction between the two, Thirteen regenerated into David Tennant’s Fourteen before they could act on their feelings.
Whittaker has a message for those longing for more pining between the Doctor and Yaz: “[N]ever say never! We’ve got adventures to do.

Taylor Swift's documentary will be called Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) when it streams on Disney+. The alteration to the movie's title is a reference to Taylor Swift's re-recordings of her old albums. The streaming version will include unreleased performances not seen in theaters.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour's title change when it arrives on streaming may lead to some confusion. The documentary, which was directed by Sam Wrench, depicts the titular world tour conducted by pop superstar Taylor Swift, which began in March 2023 and concludes in December 2024. It has already become the highest-grossing tour of all time, earning more than $1 billion. The movie was released in theaters on October 13, 2023, and became a box office smash, earning $261.7 million worldwide and similarly became the highest-grossing concert movie of all time, surpassing 2011's Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber seems to be getting ready with new music. Photos shared on Instagram by the pop star, 29, this week have his supporters wondering if he could be teasing a new project.
In two separate carousels, the ‘Never Say Never’ singer shared content of himself in the studio and rehearsing on a microphone with bandmates, reports People magazine.
“Justin’s back”, Instagram’s social media account commented on one set of photos. On both posts, fans asked if Bieber was warming up for a Super Bowl performance — a theory not out of left field, as his mentor and collaborator Usher is the scheduled halftime performer.
As per People, before this week, the singer had seemingly been focusing on endeavours outside of the music world such as his recent Drew House and Adidas collaboration for this year’s NHL All-Star jerseys.

Killers of the Flower Moon will likely have to shake off some opening weekend disappointment as the Martin Scorsese film is set to lose to Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in the battle for box office supremacy.
Per Variety, Killers of the Flower Moon is on track for a respectable domestic gross during its premiere weekend as the Western drama targets a range of $20-$30 million in ticket sales, a range indicated in previous box office projections. However, The Eras Tour is tapped to make up to $40 million during its second weekend in theaters, though some sources claim that figure could be as low as $25 million due to the concert film's unique rollout.

In another remarkable turn in a year full of unlikely box office heroes, pop star Taylor Swift is now the heroine of the fall moviegoing season. As expected, her concert film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" became a bonafide blockbuster when it hit theaters over the weekend. It scored one of the biggest domestic openings of 2023 thus far and, in the process, shattered a longstanding box office record. Move over Justin Beiber because the Swifties have booted you off the top of the mountain.
"The Eras Tour" took in a wildly impressive $97 million over the weekend in North America alone, per estimates from The Numbers. That's to say nothing of the international numbers. In a single weekend, Swift has taken the crown and now owns the highest-grossing concert film ever domestically, passing "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" ($73 million domestic/$99 million worldwide). Taylor Swift‘s “experiment” to release a 2-hour-48-minute concert movie based on her “Eras” tour turned out to be quite a boon for the box office in a slower fall season. Read on for the weekend box office report.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was announced in late August, shortly after the five L.A. concerts that were filmed for the movie, directed by Sam Wrench. Theater chain AMC took the distribution rights, working with Variance to get it into other theaters, with it ultimately ending up in 3,855 theaters, including 377 IMAX screens.
The movie’s weekend began with $2.8 million in last-minute Thursday previews, only announced by Swift on Wednesday night at her L.A. premiere with tickets going on sale Thursday morning. “Deadpool 3” and “Stranger Things” director Shawn Levy is showering praise on this weekend’s box office ruler, Taylor Swift, calling her a “generational voice and creative force” and likening her directorial vision to that of Steven Spielberg.
Swift, whose cinematic rendering of the blockbuster Eras Tour is poised to rake in north of $100 million this weekend, directed Levy as an actor in her 2021 short film, “All Too Well,” which also starred Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. The pop star has set her feature directorial debut project with Searchlight Pictures.
“Taylor, the depth of her vision for how she wants a creative piece to be, whether it’s a lyric, a melody, a bridge, a concert tour, a video — it’s profound. It’s profoundly vivid and she has the strength of her convictions,” Levy said told Entertainment Weekly. “Spielberg was on the set of a movie he produced that I directed,...

It’s already been a busy week for Taylor Swift, but the box office fun is just beginning.
Her concert movie, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” is opening this weekend and has made $2.8 million in Thursday previews from 2,700 theaters. Showings began last night at 6 p.m. The film was originally slated to open on Friday, but in a surprise announcement hours before her Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday, Swift told her legions of fans that it would launch slightly earlier, on Thursday night instead.
The movie, which filmed Swift during her massively popular Eras concert tour, is expected to earn between $100 million and $125 million in its opening weekend. The added Thursday showtimes and huge buzz from the premiere, in which Beyoncé made a surprise appearance, could push the debut even higher. But the last minute change of plans when it came to previews likely prevented that number from climbing higher.

David Yates probably knows as much about the Wizarding World as anyone, but will he be returning for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series?
David Yates was asked that very question by Deadline, and his response leaves the door open while not committing to anything. “Never say never,” Yates said. Last week, the movie industry was blindsided by the announcement that a concert film covering Taylor Swift's ongoing hit Eras Tour is headed to theaters. Not in the distant future, mind you, but very soon -- as in October 13 soon. It's extremely rare for something so splashy to be announced mere weeks before its release. Be that as it may, "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour" isn't going to be facing an uphill battle with the surprise release. Rather, this may be the Barbenheimer of the fall moviegoing season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, people in the exhibition industry currently believe that the concert film -- which runs nearly three hours -- could open to at least $100 million domestically. Even more insane? A $150 million opening isn't being ruled out. For context, "Barbie" currently holds the distinction of having 2023's biggest opening weekend with $162 million back in July. Exclusive: The AMC-distributed concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour according to sources has actually clocked $37M+ from the three big theater circuits –AMC, Regal and Cinemark– in its first 24 hours of presales. That’s definitely higher than the first day presales of Star Wars: Force Awakens at $20M.
The current opening weekend projection for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is at $70M — at least right now. Box office sources are figuring that presales rep 50% of the pic’s opening weekend. How’s that? Typically female skewing movies, i.e. Twilight, are front-loaded at the box office, and in the case of Swifties, they’re heading to this in packs.
Why is this concert film bigger than all others? Because Swift is the hottest act out there, with live-action tickets hard to come by, and the movie is coming out at the same time she’s on tour. Harry Styles and Billie Eilish,...
