    A true gem!

This is a lovely film that is beautifully written, filmed, acted, and directed. It is thought-provoking and moody from the point of view of both the innocent and the jaded characters. Mr. Garrett, the director, obviously understands the concept of "less is more," which is, alas, lost on too many people in the movie business. I loved the voice-overs at the beginning and ending, and every actor was pitch perfect in his/her part. The lighting, props, and costumes were expertly presented and perfectly fit the period of the piece. I look forward to more work from this talented director. This is a film that everyone should see; I was entranced.
