a honest man to home

A story with virtues of parable. A young man in way to home. He is robbed. In his walk , he meets a special old man and the worker in a store. Talks, a proposition, the brutal owner of store and the honest , brave defender of old man , a misterious ( but, in essence, more than clear )end.

The gifts for kids, the hanging of wife are , maybe, basic virtues of this charming, in so profound measure, film. Like the crumbs of old Romanian fairy tales.

But the gift for viewer is the fair , simple, precise portrait of USA after Great Crisis . In some measure, a religious film about the precious things of life , temptations and reward of kindnesss and honesty. In short, just admirable.
